Chapter 2: Kujian Smells
Narrator: Welcome peeps! I hope you enjoyed last chapter. Now, it's time to continue where our heroes left off!
"This kujian-friend of yours doesn't take a bath frequently, does he?"
The Kujian roared and looked at VGW.
"I guess he didnt like the compliment," said Dyria. "The Kujian species is known for the pride their species take. You are really lucky, VGW. Usually, you only get one chance to insult a Kujian...." At this point, Dyria stopped talking. She didn't want to tell VGW the meaning of that sentence.
"Figures," said VGW with some kind of sarcasm as he loked at the Kujian's cold stare.
"Stop that!" said Dyria half-laughing, half-crying. "Kujians are very sensitive."
"I can see that," replied VGW. "I guess I'll leave town tonight."
"You don't really mean it??!" asked Dyria. "Towns are the only places left. Ever since our protector, Sir Darkforce, left, monsters have been appearing everywhere! Our guards are disappearing by the hundreds! please don't leave! My father...." Dyria stopped talking, and ran for the door. Before VGW could even stand up, Dyria was inside the house, doors shut.
"I guess I'm alone with you now," said VGW to the Kujian. The Kujian growled and left. VGW stood up and knocked the door.
"Come in" said Dyria. VGW closed the door and walked up to Dyria.
"Is something wrong? I didn't mean to insult ou or your Kujian..."
"You didn't do anything..."
"What is it, then?" asked VGW.
"It's just that the Kujian is a gift from my father. He gave it to me before he left to guard this town. He and his brother never came back! They were last seen in the mountains..."
"I'm so sorry, Dyria," said VGW. "If there's anything I can do..."
"I'm leaving tonight as well. I want to go out and look for my father... when I heard you were leaving town, I wanted to ask you if you would come. Will you, please?"
"I... I think so," said VGW.
"Thank you! We met just a few minutes ago, yet, I consider you one of my best friends." VGW felt flattered and turned red. Dyria laughed, and they went outside.
"Jupiter!" called Dyria. The Kujian came to her, and, to this day, it is unknown wether it stepped on VGW's foot on purpose or by accident. The only thing we know for sure is that VGW cursed at the Kujian. The words are too ugly to be repeated.
"We leave tonight!" said Dyria as she petted the Kujian.
"I don't see how you can like that thing," said VGW. VGW and Dyria laughed, but the kujian stepped on VGW's foot again.
At Ganna's lair....
"It's true, my liege!"
"Curses! If he is back, my plan to conquer this realm is in jeopardy!" growled Ganna. "Go, Sigma. Take care of him! Don't fail me, or you'll be sorry!"
Sigma nodded and left. As much as he hated Ganna, she gave him some new weapons that he was eager to test on his enemy. Originally, Sigma's plan was to destory Ganna and rule the realm. But now, revenge seemed like the number one priority.
"I've waited too long for this. This is the last time that pesky idiot gets in my way," Sigma laughed, and went to the mountains.
Back to our heroes...
"It's dark," said Dyria. "Let's go." The Kujian and VGW nodded. For once, they seemed to agree. As they walked across the silent streets, an eerie music came to their ears. The trio kept walking, and the music seemed to become more and more soothing. VGW started to feel drowsy, yet he wanted to keep walking to continue hearing that wonderful music. The Kujian looked at the humans and wondered why they looked as if their life force was being drained... the Kujian decided to get their attention. He roared once, twice, and got no result. The humans continued walking like zombies towards a distant light. The Kujian looked at it, and noted that the light must be miles away. Suddenly, everything went black.
"Where am I?!" asked VGW. "And what _is_ that awful smell??!"
"That's the smell of an angry Kujian..." said Dyria. "Wow! We are in the middle of the plains! We must be miles away from Tahl!"
"It seems that we are lost," said VGW.
"Let's just keep going north," said Dyria. The Kujian shivered, for he knew that the light he saw last night lay north...
Ganna looks angry...
"You failed to destroy him?! How could you?!" thundered Ganna.
"Forgive me, your excellency. That creature caught me unprepared for battle and nearly destroyed me. I am lucky to have escaped"
"Very well" said Ganna. "Just don't fail me again... no one lives to fail me twice... bring in the next couple of soldiers to the lava pit! I need some entertainment!" Ganna left the room. Sigma heard the soldiers scream, a boiling sound, and Ganna's evil laughter.

Chapter 4: In the Mystic City
As the trio entered the city, they noticed that all sorts of mythical creatures lived there. Minotaurs, faeries, fauns, etc.
"I'm so tired," said VGW. "I wish I could go to an inn like they do in RPG's..."
Dyria looked confused, but she said, "Well... there is an inn around the corner...."
A cloaked figure passed by them and said, "About time we met, VGW. Go to the gates at midnight. Be there."
"How do you know me?!"
"There's no time to explain," said the figure. The figure started running away from VGW.
"Wait!" cried VGW. VGW chased after the cloaked person, but he couldn't keep up with the mysterous person. The cloaked figure swiftly ran through the crowds at lightning speed; he never seemed to get tired. VGW panted and said, "He....(pant) is.. too(pant) fast... to be human(pant)... no human or creature can(pant) keep up that speed and(pant) ... not get... tired...."
After a while, Dyria caught up with him and said, "Let's go to an inn. You look like you could use some rest."
The group went to the inn and got two separate rooms. Jupiter had to stay outside.
"No animals," said the receptionist. VGW went straight ot his room and fell asleep. Dyria, on the other hand, went to the pub and tried to gather as much info as she could. She listened closely to the gossip around....
"Now that the commander's here, we stand a much better chance!"
"Wasn't he in the city? No one's seen him for a while..."
"I can't wait till the armies are regrouped!"
"Those evildoers will be sorry for this!"
Dyria felt glad, for she knew who the commander was.... and she knew that her father served under the commander. Maybe he knew where her father was? Dyria heard the people talk for hours... and hours... They never seem to get tired, she said to herself.
"I'd better go to sleep now," said Dyria. just as she was heading for the stairs, she bumped into a huge strabge man that looked different from what she had ever seen. He was bald, had huge shoulders, and his body seemed metallic.
"I'm sorry," she said.
The stranger gave Dyria a cold stare, then he smiled evily, he didn't reply, and he walked away from her.
Dyria went to her room, and she found Jupiter sleeping on her bead. She laughed and said, "You are one stubborn Kujian, aren't you?"
Meanwhile.....
The streets were empty, silent, and the night was moonless. He knew VGW had to come soon. "It's almost midnight," he said. "Where are you, VGW?" He waited near the gates of the city, and time seemed to have entered a no-passing zone. He knew that only five minutes had passed, but they felt like hours to him. Suddenly, the clock struck twelve. He was about to leave, when he heard a familiar voice..
"Wait! Don't leave! I'm sorry I'm a little late!" said VGW.
"I was just about to leave..."
"Please tell me, who are you?" asked VGW.
"Take a wild guess. I came with you to this world. I've been hiding from the public for a few days, waiting for you to come.I can't tell you who I am right now. you'll have to think about it. If you ever need help, give me call." He handed VGW a small radio.
"This is just like the one...."
"Be quiet," interrupted the cloaked figure.
"Sorry... it's just that I still don't know how you could run and don't get tired.."
"We don't get tired. Ever. We don't have the wimpy bodies humans and animals have."
"We?" asked VGW. "What do you mean? You are not a species?"
"We are not a species that exists...yet...."
"I don't get it," said VGW..
"Good," said the figure. Sorry for all this mystery, but I can't afford to show myself in a place where I'm well known. They'd never let me out. Next time we meet, I won't have my cloak. Good bye!" As the figure finished his sentence, a beam took to the skies, and the cloak was left there.
