Chapter Five: Who...who am I...?
In the morning....
"What on earth is that noise?!" asked VGW as he stood up and looked out the window. "A parade!" VGW wasted no time and went to look for Dyria. To his surprise, Dyria was already up, and they met in the hallway.
"Let's go see the parade!" said VGW.
"All right!" came the reply from Dyria. When they got outside, they found out that the huge line of soldiers and maidens was not due to a parade. The queen of the faeries was taking a walk.
"What a way to take a walk!" said VGW.
"I don't see her... can you see her?" asked Dyria.
VGW looked at the queen and froze. "I.. I..."
"What's the matter?" asked Dyria."VGW? Is something wrong?"
"The....the queen.. l...."
"Soldiers, catch that girl!" shouted the queen. Everyone looked at Dyria, and she turned white witht error. SHe tried to run, but she couldn't. The soldiers came over to her and grabbed her like a defenseless animal. VGW and Jupiter tried to fight the soldiers, but they got beaten up and captured.
"I've finally found you..." said the queen while looking at Dyria. Dyria was too frightened to utter a word. Her fear was so huge that she fainted.
When Dyria woke up, she found herself in what appeared to be the queen's room. She heard the queen talking..
"Could she be the girl, your excellency?" asked the queen's maid.
"I have almost no doubt. Is she still sleeping?"
"I don't know, your majesty.Shall I look at her?
"Please do, Lira." The maiden looked at Dyria and found her wide awake.
"She's awake, you majesty."
"Take her to her room. The princess is finally home.." said the queen.
Dyria felt like fainting again. "Princess?" she tough to herself. "Did I hear that right? How could I be a princess? I'm only a simple girl from Tahl.. the queen must be talking about someone else.."
"Please follow me" said Lira. Dyria stood up and walked behind the maiden. Dyria looked at the castle hall, full of beatiful paintings, statues, colored glass windows, and the strangest thing thing of all: A picture of a girl and the queen. Dyria had lost track of time by the time the maidenstopped in front of a huge doorway.
"Enter your room. Welcome back" the maiden bowed and closed the doors.
Dyria was afraid in that new room. The room was huge, and resembled the hallway. Dyria looked a some of the paintings:mountains, valleys, all beautiful. Dyria was shocked by the next set of paintings... she could see a picture of the queen, a baby Kujian, and a little girl that looked like her...
"It's not possible," said Dyria. "This must be some sort of huge coincidence..." she felt assred, for the girl in the pictures had angel wings... and was surrounded by a white aura; just like the queen.
Dyria felt terrible, and fell into a deep silence. That silence was interrupted when the door of her room opened. Dyria smiled when she saw VGW and Jupiter enter.
"I'm glad you two are safe," said Dyria. "I'm happy to see you"
"Well... we were thrown into the dungeon and the queen gave us a visit...she let us go when she saw Jupite. They seemed to recognize each other..."
Dyria's smile quickly turned into a frown and she cried, "Leave!"
"But.." started VGW.
"I said, leave!" shouted Dyria. VGW didn't waste a second. He bolted for the door, but Jupiter stayed there.
"It can't be true Jupiter...." sobbed Dyria. "I feel like destroying this place..." Dyria turned her back on Jupiter and looked out the big window. She started crying in anger. She was so angry...she felt like causing an earthquake...she clutched her fists and kept her eyes closed. Suddenly, the palace started shaking terribly, Jupiter hid himself under the bed, and the shaking kept getting stronger. Dyria opened her eyes to find all the pictures on the floor, and houses collapsed.
"It must have been another one of those coincidences" she said. Unknown to Dyria, it wasn't a coincidence. Had she kept her eyes open, she would have seen the white aura surrounding her as the eartquake spell she unknowingly cast got stronger as she got angrier.

Chapter Six: This stuff is HOT!
Narrator: Are you sure I have to do this story?
Lemmy: It's either that or tell it to Big Mouth....if you can.
Narrator: Fine, fine. The last we left off, an earthquake spell was cast by Dyria. VGW noticed it just as it was ending, and he's going back to her.
"Dyria, I believe the term 'bring down the house' applies to rock bands, not--
"I know, VGW." Dyria was still a little upset. She doesn't know whether or not she belongs with Queen Lira. But VG seems to know how to comfort ladies. In a few moments, Dyria stops crying. They talk a little more until--
"Princess! We know where the commander is!" Queen Lira was shouting franctically.
"Commander?!? The one who knows my father? Where is he?"
"In the Imp Volcano. I know that you want some info from the commander, but you should suit up before you go. Come with me to the treasury."
VGW now speaks. "Excuse me, your highness; I am one of [Princess] Dyria's best friends, and I accompanied her to this town from Tahl. Can I please tag along with her and the Kujian?"
"Young man, a gentlemen should always escort a lady. Come along with me, and I'll suit you up too."
Narrator: They go to the treasury, where they stock up on some items to use during their journey. Dyria gets a Heat Dress and Heat Wand. Jupiter gets the Heat Fur and Heat Claws. VG gets the Heat Shirt and Heat Axe.
"All three of you have some special gift. Go find the commander, learn of your father Dyria, and try to get some bug spray while you're at it."
"Yes, your highness," VG and Dyria bowed. Jupiter just bowed, for he can't talk. The trio then left for Imp Volcano.
In Ganna's Lair:
"I am growing mighty impatient here. That threat was supposed to be taken care of. SIGMA?!?!?!?"
"Yes, Ganna?"
"What is his location? I want to stop him personally."
"None of us can. I can't find him! He has eluded me...BUT...
"But what?!?"
"I did find the current location of his cloak. Some other person has it with him."
"Was this other person a boy, accompanied by a girl?"
"Yes, my leige."
"WHAT?!? The boy survived? Sigma, leave me for the moment." ::Sigma teleports away:: "Oh, Xokuz....."
Xokuz comes running in. "Yes master?"
"The boy is alive, you worthless imp! He is heading back to your territory, so stop him now!"
"Yes master." ::teleports away::
"At this rate, I'd do better if I took care of this mission myself......"

In Ganna's Lair:
"I wonder how Xokuz is doing......Xokuz? Where are you? (pause) Xokuz? (longer pause) XOKUZ?!?!?!?
Narrator: Ganna was waiting for Xokuz, Lord of the Lava Imps, to come to her for a report on our three heroes. What she doesn't know, though, is that Xokuz is now dead.
"Something isn't right! Does anyone know where Xokuz is?!?"
Ganna wanted answers. She managed to get one via a monster hidden in a cloak, much like the mysterious person that was mentioned in chapter 4. "Don't worry, Emperor. Xokuz might not be around anymore, but I will take care of those do-gooders now!"
"Excellent! I can't wait for them to perish! Now, if only I could find some Moogles to sacrifice..."
Chapter Eight: The Commander Reveals...Part.
Narrator: Our heroes have just survived an intense battle with Xokuz, the Lord of the Lava Imps, and are heading back to the legendary city.
"My, that was a tough fight. I just wished that I could have dealt the finishing blow..." VGW was talking to Dyria, but was a little disapointed. Though relieved that Xokuz was defeated, VGW wished that he defeated him. The prize for beating him--a piece of what looked like a belt buckle--was given to VG, but he didn't feel that he earned it.
Dyria, though, could tell how he was feeling. "VGW, I should thank you for that fight. Right now, for some reason, I can only do my magic when very mad or sad; you gave me the incentive I needed. That's why you currently own the belt buckle piece. What you did was be a true friend; that's why there is that 'Crest of Friendship' you claim is on the buckle."
Even Jupiter was purring softly towards VG, for even she agreed with Dyria. "I guess you're right, Dyria," VG finally spoke again. "But I still wanted to be--"
"SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The trio has entered the city again, with a very grateful crowd. They were glad to have the trio return to the city. So, after greeting and hugging everyone (with VGW only hugging the females), they managed to get back to Queen Lira's palace. She was very thrilled.
"VGW, step forth." He stepped forth, and listened to the queen. "You, Dyria, and Jupiter have done this town a favor by slaying Xokuz. Now the town of Zukox is saved."
"Zukox?" VGW asked puzzlingly. "But isn't that Xokuz spelled backwords?"
"Yes," the queen continued. "Zukox and Xokuz were brothers, but Zukox was good and Xokuz evil. When they tried to build the city together, Xokuz was ruining everything, and eventually became a very evil baddy. Long have we waited for the day when he would perish from this realm. And now that day has come. For that, there will be a banquet in all of your honors. What do you say?"
The Charizard-like creature stepped out of the shadows. "I say that I need to see these three for a few moments before the banquet starts, your Magesty."
"Very well," the queen said. "VGW, Dyria, and Jupiter, please follow the commander to the secret headquarters below the castle."
"WHAT THE ****?!?" VGW didn't mean to curse, but he was surprised that the commander was a talking Charizard. "You mean that the dragon is the commander? But how could that be?"
"Just follow me and I'll explain everything." And with that said, the trio follows Zero to the secret HQ.
Narrator: The secret HQ beneath Queen Lira's castle wasn't a war room like in most movies. Rather, it's more of a second home. Sure, there is a war room inside the HQ, but the look is more like a place VGW would want to live in. After the trio got themselves situated. The Charizard began speaking...
"I hope you like it here. You won't see many places like these." *sweats* "Man, it's hot in this suit. I better take it off."
What VGW saw was unbelievable. The Charizard was actually a very good friend of his--Zero Omega!
"ZERO?!?!?!?!? What are you doing here?!?" VGW was very shocked.
"I was hoping it was you, Commander Zero! It's been so long...." Dyria was more than happy to see Zero. Jupiter even tried to lick Zero, but Zero was too quick.
"Yes, Dyria," Zero said. "While I could have taken better care of you, it seems that VGW has done a pretty good job in my place."
"Should I take that as a compliment?" VGW wondered.
"Coming from me, yes," Zero answered. "Now, I have a few things to say. For one thing, your Nijaku Dyria seems to be healthier."
"Zero, I thought Jupiter was a Ku--"
"DON'T SAY THAT WORD OUT LOUD!" Queen Lira said while you were gone that the other word was a bad word because she almost would have had to fight Reid. The letters had to be rearranged so that there wouldn't be any fights. It is pronounced (NEE-JAH-COO)."
"I still like the other word better..."
"Oh stop it VG," Dyria finally spoke. "Anyway commander, what do you have to tell all of us?"
A soilder walked in. "Commander, we have a pro--"
"Silence Cadet! This is not the time!" Zero meant what he said, and the Cadet left for the moment. "Anyway, did you three get anything after beating Xokuz?"
"Yes," VGW said. "It looks like a part of a belt buckle."
"Let me look at it," Zero said. VGW handed it over, and looked it over carefully. VGW, you have found a very important treasure. This is the a piece of the legendary belt buckle of Zealot!"
"Who's Zealot?" VGW wondered.
"Zealot was a very powerful warrior, attributing his success to his specialy designed belt. However, he was beaten in a 5 on 1 battle with him being the one. Each of the five tore apart his belt, hoping that no one would ever wear it again. Four of the parts were pieces of the buckle, but the firth part was the belt itself, with a buckle already attached. Here is a picture of it."
VGW looked at it, as did the others. VG noticed that it looked similar to a Techno Belt that he saw in an LL Bean catalog before departing to this vast new land. "Do you by chance have a belt similar to this? I wanted one like this, but I don't have 20 bucks with me."
"I actually have the belt that Zealot wore," Zero told VG. "However, when he first put it on, he cut off the extra slack on the belt to make it a 'one size fits one'. Also, the belt itself was what we call 'reversed magnetized'; when the belt is off, the buckle and the fitting try to repel each other, though when the belt is fastened, it takes a while to take off...if the wearer wanted to take it off at all. Legend says that Zealot always wore his belt, never trying to take it off."
"Wait a sec, Zero. If there was already a buckle on the belt, then what's the deal to the piece of this other belt buckle we found?"
"Zealot went to search for the four belt buckle pieces of Dorka Cref, the name of this world. He found them and brought the pieces together. He then put the new buckle on top of his old one, and the new one quickly covered the old buckle, thereby locking the belt. While Zealot could have unlocked the belt by pressing two of the belt buckle pieces at the same time, he chose to keep it locked. However, legend also says that when the owner of the belt died, the buckle deattaches itself and splits back into the four pieces. The five that defeated Zealot took those five parts and sent them off into various parts of the world.
"I admit that I was one of the five that defeated Zealot, but I had a Maverick mind back then. Sometime after I got the belt, the captain of this squad, whose name I can't say and who is currently MIA, somehow got rid of my Maverick status and thus I became a defender of good. I have gotten all of the troops to try on the Zealot Belt, but not all of them could put it on. For those that were able to, it was never a perfect fit; legend says that the one who fastens the belt with it fitting properly is a 'chosen one'. That chosen one must defeat the latest evil that has arisen, or doom the world of Dorka Cref to eternal darkness.
"However, there was one thing that Zealot couldn't do that a future 'chosen one' could possibly do. Zealot might have found all four belt buckle pieces, but he could never balance the four qualities of the buckle: Friendship, Love, Knowledge, and Sincerity. If he had all four of them balanced, he would have become a much better person than what he was."
"So, let me get this straight," Dyria spoke. "The one who wears the Zealot Belt with a perfect fit, finds the four belt buckle pieces, and balances each of the qualities will become greater than ever?"
"That is true to an extent--"
The Cadet returned again. "Zero, you have to listen--"
"--to none of this nonsense! Don't interrupt me again!" Again, the Cadet left. "Anyway, what you said Dyria is true to an extent. No one knows what would have happened should Zealot had balanced the four qualities. One thing that is known, though, is that while he found the buckle pieces, he wasn't one who could balance the qualities in the first place; he was a greedy thief at heart who used power to win. He represented the opposite qualities of the buckle, and that's why he died in battle. He wasn't what many people thought he was; even though Dorka Cref's 'Bible' said that Zealot was a righteous man, he in truth wasn't. History books show us that. But none of the Bible-literate people would believe what the other books say. They worship Zealot, not G-d. The true followers tried to be like Zealot, but failed from the very start.
"We have been waiting for the day when someone could wear the Zealot Belt with pride and honor, but no one has come yet. However, someone must come soon, for a new evil has come. That evil is known as Ganna."
"Ganna?" VGW started to speak. "I was sent here to stop Ganna! Perhaps I should try on this Zealot belt."
"Hmmm...." Zero was thinking. "You are the only one that I know that has yet to try it on; it might work. Leutenant, bring in the Zealot Belt!"
The belt was brought in. It was very similar to the one VGW saw in the LL Bean catalog; blue and black webbing for the main belt, with a quick-release silver-colored hang gliding-like belt buckle. The one thing VG noticed differently is that there really was no "slack"; most of it was cut off, with just a little bit stitched on underneath the main belt. What he couldn't see was that hidden magnets were placed on and in the belt, thereby making the belt hard to put on--and take off, according to Zero's legend.
VGW tucked in his shirt and started to put on the belt. "You should know VGW," Zero started to say, "that it must be put on a certain way. Make it so that the metal fitting is on the left side of your jeans."
VGW did as Zero asked. After some fighting with his belt loops (they barely allowed the belt to fit through), he was almost done with putting it on. Now all he had to do was fasten it securely. He first tried to put it straight in, but the magnets denied his request. Then he tried to "fake" putting on the belt, hoping to throw the magnet's timing off. It was successful, and in the next thrust, VGW securely fastened the Zealot Belt.
"So you can put it on," Zero said. "But I must see how well it fits you. I did double check how well it fit when Zealot was wearing it before I defeated him, so I should see how well it fits on you."
Zero was doing some checks on VGW. He tried yanking VGW's shirt out of his jeans; the belt held it in place. He then tried to move the belt from side to side; the belt stayed still. Next, he tried to see if he could lift a part of the belt off of the jeans; no go. For one more test, Zero used his infrared goggles to see if there were any red marks on VGW's skin. If there were marks, then the belt was too tight. Zero knows that the belt can't be too loose. However, after checking VGW's skin, he finally declared--
"We have the chosen one! Ring the bells of Zukox! Let the people know we have a chosen one!"
Dyria then hugged VGW. "I am so proud of you VG. Now I know that you can help me find my father!"
All VG could do was blush. "Ah, it was nothing...but it seems that you're attracted to me more than your father."
"That's a good joke, VGW," Zero said. Dyria secretly blushed when VG wasn't looking. "This means that you must stop Ganna now. But you must first find the other three belt buckle pieces and keep the qualities in balance. Now, how about we have that banquet?"
"Sounds good to me!" Both Dyria and VGW said at the same time. Jupiter was also ready to chow down.
The Cadet came one more time. "But that's what I've been trying to tell you guys! You can't! Someone has stolen all of the food from the nearby towns!"
"Who is the culprit?" Zero wanted to know.
"We did manage to get a name; Yum Key Poorage."
"Not him! He was supposed to be in jail!" Zero was furious now. Zero knew Yum Key Poorage.
VGW was thinking to himself at this time. If this guy has something to do with Yom Kippur & fasting, then this is going to be very difficult for us, if not for our stomachs.
