Who Wants to be a Superpower?

Voice: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?", the show ranked #1 by everyone who desperately needs to kill time! Now, a man who makes you "feel funny" with prolonged exposure, the Great Saiyaman!

(Boing, we're back to the set! Saiyaman and Voice have obviously returned.)

Saiyaman: "Feel funny"? Real comfort, Voice. Anyways, folks, welcome to the latest episode!

Voice: I don't know about you, but I'm actually glad to be back today.

Saiyaman; Me too, Voice. I mean, the honeymoon was great, but there's nothing like coming back to a place and doing what you love.

Voice: So, how was the wedding?

Saiyaman: (Shrugs.) It didn't go as well as I thought, but at least we got married. That's the important part.

Voice: Yeah. Reminds me of my own wedding. Boy, those were the days...

Saiyaman: I'm afraid we don't have time for reminising. We have to start the show by introducing our contestant, Charmy!

(Charmy enters and sits down.)

Saiyaman: Thanks for being on the show, Charmy.

Charmy: My pleasure!

Saiyaman: Wow, it's the Charmy from Sonic Heroes. What was it like working on that game?

Charmy: Not bad. Looking at myself when I play that game, I never realized my voice was that high-pitched.

Saiyaman: Trust me, everyone who played with Team Chaotix noticed.

Voice: So, what's our prize this week?

Saiyaman: This week, Charmy will be playing for this life-size replica of Elvis Presley!

Charmy: Wow!

Voice: Yeah, but the kit said it was supposed to make a skateboard.

Saiyaman: Darn false advertising. But, who cares? It's time to play "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"!

(Once again, the lights dim with dramatic music playing.)

Saiyaman: We start off the show with Knowledge! All set?

Charmy: I guess so.

Voice: What is the strongest sword for Crono in Chrono Trigger?

Charmy: The Rainbow.

Saiyaman: What is the name of the refridgerator in Jackie's Fridge?

Charmy: The Fridge.

Voice: What feature replaces the Style Change in MMBN4?

Charmy: The Soul Unison.

Saiyaman: How many pieces did the Master Emerald break into in Sonic Adventure DX?

Charmy: Fifteen.

Voice: Where is the Fountain of Youth?

Charmy: Beats me.

Saiyaman: What is the bounty on Vash the Stampede?

Charmy: $$60,000,000.

TIME!!

Saiyaman: Since you've passed, we move onto Creativity! Today's challenge is this: you have run into your own son from the future and have discovered that he is working for the side of evil! What would you do?

Charmy: I have a son? Whoa.

Voice: Uh, the question...

Charmy: Oh yeah. I'd ground him and send him to his room! Failing that, I guess I'd have to beat him up since he's being a bad boy.

Saiyaman: Hmm...yeah, that's good. Onward to the arena!

(Charmy leaves for the arena.)

Saiyaman: The rules are the same as always. Just two lives for three opponents. Let's review that moveset...

  • B: Sting: Charmy dashes forward and over any ledges
  • B-Up: Fly: allows him to hover as long as combo is held, gets canceled if hurt.
  • B-Side: Pollenate: a flower arises from the ground and fires in a straight line, goes farther than sting, but slower
  • B-Down: Burrow: goes into the ground and three seconds later, comes out, and even a 10.50% chance of arising with an item

    Saiyaman: Charmy had a unique request for us. He wanted to fight some of the Wire Frame army. Since they are SSBM fighters, who are we to turn him down? However, since there are a unlimited number of the buggers, we just toned that number down to thirty for him to fight, since they're so weak.

    Voice: Those guys are the only fighters wussier than Jigglypuff.

    Jigglypuff: I resent that remark!

    Saiyaman: Aside from that, the only other fighters are Sonic and the Ice Climbers. The arena is Final Destination and Charmy's initals are CH. Charmy has flown into the arena and five of the Wire Frames are in there as well, so let's get this underway!

    ***Begin Corny Intro***

    Saiyaman: Ladies and gentlemen...

    Voice: Boys and girls...

    Saiyaman: Other people who are here for no particular reason...

    Voice: SSS just can't help but wonder why it's once again bringing you...

    Saiyaman: THE NEWLY-MARRIED STAFF MEMBER, SAIYAMAN!

    Voice: THE LONG-STANDING VOICE!

    Both: YOUR SSS COMMENTATORS!

    Saiyaman: And now, for the sixty thousand in attendance...

    Voice: And for the one-hundred thousand watching worldwide...

    Saiyaman: IT'S SMASHING TIME!

    ***End Corny Intro***

    Saiyaman: Proving that once again, the Wire Frames are just ninty-eight pound weaklings, Charmy slams through three of them with Sting! The other two hit him once each, but he just throws both of them away!

    Voice: The replacement Wire Frames drop down, but Charmy knocks them all out with his Pollenate ability! Two more reappear and Charmy up-Smashes them both out!

    Saiyaman: Three more reappear, but Charmy slams them all out with a running attack! This is almost too easy for him!

    Voice: Perhaps not! Five appear in the arena and gang up, smacking him from both sides! He appears trapped, but a low Smash knocks out three of them, giving him the room to Smash out the other two!

    Saiyaman: Another four hop in, but Charmy hides from them with Burrow. As the Wire Frames walk over to his spot, he pops out and KOs them all!

    Voice: The other five Wire Frames hop in and attack, but Charmy shields and throws out one, taking two others with it! The last Wire Frame enters the arena, only to go out with the others when Charmy uses Sting on them!

    Saiyaman: Up next in the arena is the Ice Climbers! They run at Charmy, who hops over them and hits them from behind!

    CH: 35% IC: 9%

    Voice: The Ice Climbers turn around and strike with Squall Hammer! They try striking with Blizzard, but Charmy shields and Smashes as a counter-attack!

    Saiyaman: The Ice Climbers fire an Ice Shot, but Charmy leaps over it! Wait, that was just a set-up, so they could get under Charmy and upward-Smash him! What an technique!

    Voice: Charmy sure didn't like that! He Burrows under once he lands and comes back out with a Beam Sword! After a quick Sting, he puts that sword to good use and starts slicing them up!

    Saiyaman: The Ice Climbers interrupt that one with Blizzard and strike again! Charmy hits Popo by throwing the sword at him, then tosses him away!

    Voice: Charmy continues his attack with several quick punches and a downward Smash! The Ice Climbers are knocked off, but use the Belay to get back on the arena!

    CH: 76% IC: 61%

    Saiyaman: The Ice Climbers throw Charmy off the edge, but he comes by using Fly and throws Popo off the edge! He's too far away for him and Nana to use the Belay, so he falls off, ending the Ice Climber's run!

    Voice: That just leaves Sonic to battle Charmy! He runs up to Charmy and delivers a running attack before Charmy can raise his shield!

    Saiyaman: Charmy and Sonic start trading punches, but Charmy uses a downward attack to knock back Sonic! Sonic comes back with a Light Speed Dash and hits Charmy!

    Voice: Charmy uses his Pollenate and hits Sonic! Sonic retaliates by jumping and hitting Charmy! He then slams Charmy with a Spin Dash! Charmy goes flying out!

    Saiyaman: Charmy returns back to the action and strikes with a mid-air attack! Sonic backs off until the invincibility wears off, then leaps back and strikes Charmy!

    Voice: Charmy uses the Sting, then upward-throws Sonic! He leaps and hits Sonic in mid-air!

    Saiyaman: Sonic returns with a Figure Eight Dash, slamming into Charmy! He turns around and runs back toward him!

    Voice: Charmy hides using his Burrow move and comes up under Sonic!

    CH: 19%D1 S: 43%

    Saiyaman: Charmy grabs Sonic, hits him twice, then throws him downward! He then Smashes Sonic!

    Voice: Sonic gets back at him with a Light Speed Dash and a few punches! He tries leaping at Charmy, but Charmy hops up as well and slams him into the ground!

    Saiyaman: Another good Smash and Sonic flies over the edge! He tries to come back with a Super Sonic Jolt, but he's too far away from the ledge and falls off!

    THIS GAME'S WINNER IS...CHARMY!

    Charmy: Awesome! Totally awesome!

    Saiyaman: That it is. Let's show the old blue screen...

    (The blue screen appears again.)
