Who Wants to be a Superpower?

Voice: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?", the show preferred by everyone at SSS who watches it! Now, a man still at level one after all these years, the Great Saiyaman!

(Looks like we're back on the set.)

Saiyaman: Hey, I'm at least level ten! Welcome back to the show, folks!

Voice: Heard there was something special about this episode.

Saiyaman: Yup, we've got our first female contestant on the show!

Voice: Wait, didn't Terri count in that Violet the Lillymon form?

Saiyaman: True, but this would be our first really geniune, we're-sure-she's-a-girl contestant!

Voice: That sounded just plain lame.

Saiyaman: What? I'm not a spokesperson. Anyways, here's our contestant, Melusine!

(Melusine walks out onstage and sits down.)

Saiyaman: Thanks for being on the show, Melusine.

Melusine: Well, there wasn't anything better to do today.

Voice: Comforting.

Saiyaman: Why don't you tell us a little about yourself?

Melusine: Well, I'm normally a dragon, but I can turn into a mage. I just like finding fun things to do with my magic powers.

Voice: I don't think you'd have a problem with that.

Saiyaman: So, for today's prize, you can win a PET from the Megaman Battle Network games, complete with twenty Battle Chips and a NormNavi3!

Melusine: Nice, but I thought this show was having budget problems.

Saiyaman: Well, it turns out that the paperwork for the budget increase for the show finally came through! We got it upped by...how much was that, Voice?

Voice: The exact same amount it cost to get that PET and all its accessories.

Saiyaman: That was short-lived. Now, let's play "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"!

(Luckily, the budget is still good enough for the dimming lights and dramatic music.)

Saiyaman: Time to start off with Knowledge! Are you all set?

Melusine: Yup!

Voice: In the web comic "Sore Thumbs", what is the name of Cecania's brother?

Melusine: Fairbanks.

Saiyaman: What is Adam Sessler's middle name?

Melusine: Who?

Voice: What was the release date for Sonic the Hedgehog 3?

Melusine: February 2nd.

Saiyaman: Has Speed Racer ever lost a race on purpose?

Melusine: Sure has.

Voice: Who does Inuyasha prefer: Kagome or Kikyo?

Melusine: I thought they were the same person.

Saiyaman: What problem does Ken of "Dub This!" have?

Melusine: He thinks everything else is inferior to his stuff.

TIME!!

Saiyaman: Okie-dokie, you've passed, so we now move on to Creativity! Your favorite TV network has been bought out and you've decided to take action! What do you do?

Melusine: What? They'd buy it out? I'd KILL THEM ALL!

Saiyaman: Sounds good to me! Let's go to the arena after these words from our sponser!

(Commerical break! Go get a soda!)

Voice: Have you ever felt like you'll never get a date, leaving you to die alone and uncared for by the opposite sex?

175: I know I have.

Voice: Worry no more! With the SSS patented dating service, we can set you up with almost anyone that suits your tastes! Look, here's your dating service picked date now!

Mother Brain: You my new boyfriend? ((Writer's note: 50,000 bonus points if you know where that line's from!))

175: ...oh heck, I'll give it a try.

Voice: Another satisfied customer!

(Now, back to our show!)

Saiyaman: Welcome back. Melusine is already in the arena, so let's review the rules. She just has to bet three foes with two lives and no items. Let's check the moveset...

B: Hydro Blast: Fires a blast of water at opponent (7 level Charge move)

UP+B: Change to Dragon form

FORWARD+B: Water Disc: A sharp disc made of water that flies straight when fired.

DOWN+B: Magic Barrier: Creates a bubble around her that blocks projectile attacks. *must hold B*

B: Fire Breath: Attacks with Breath weapon (7 level Charge move)

UP+B: Change to Spellcaster form

FORWARD+B: Water Disc: A sharp disc made of water that flies straight when fired.

DOWN+B: Earthquake: Kinda like Kong's move where he slaps the ground repeatedly.

Saiyaman: Melusine's opponents are Young Link, Waluigi and Tron. The arena is Final Destination and her battle initals are ML. Well, Melusine is already in spellcaster form and Young Link has entered the arena, so let's get the fight started!

***Begin Corny Intro***

Saiyaman: Ladies and gentlemen...

Voice: Boys and girls...

Saiyaman: Obscure video game characters of all types...

Voice: SSS is really sick of bringing you...

Saiyaman: THE SUPER-DUPER SAIYAMAN!

Voice: THE GROOVY VOICE!

Both: YOUR SSS COMMENTATORS!

Saiyaman: And now, for the five-hundred thousand in attendance...

Voice: And for the seventy-five hundred thousand watching worldwide...

Saiyaman: IT'S SMASHING TIME!

***End Corny Intro***

Saiyaman: Melusine starts off with a Water Disc, which connects with the running Young Link! She then runs toward and gets him with a running attack!

Voice: Young Link counters with a Spin Attack, knocking Melusine upward, then hits her again with an upward attack!

Saiyaman: Melusine slams Young Link with a downward air attack! Young Link grabs her and hits him, but she breaks free and Smashes him!

Voice: Young Link throws him Boomerang, but Melusine bounces it off with her Magic Barrier! She then runs over to him and throws him!

Saiyaman: Young Link stabs Melusine several times after he gets up, then pulls out a Bomb! Melusine punches Young Link a bit, then low Smashes him and charges the Hydro Blast!

Voice: Young Link throws his Bomb, but Melusine rolls away from the explosion! She then hits Young Link with a running attack!

Saiyaman: Young Link and Melusine start using basic attacks against each other, scoring some minor damage, but Melusine grabs Young Link, hits him and throws him downward! Young Link bounces back up with a Smash attack!

Voice: Melusine hits him with an upward attack, then hits him with Water Disc on his way down!

ML: 51% yL: 64%

Saiyaman: Melusine fires the Hydro Blast, sending Young Link flying! She then transforms into her dragon form as Young Link triple-jumps back! As soon as he pulls himself up, Melusine Smashes him, sending him flying out of the arena for good!

Voice: Now, Waluigi enters the arena! He starts off by leaping at Melusine and hitting her, but she counters with an upward attack!

Saiyaman: Waluigi strikes with the Waluigi Fury, sending Melusine flying! She quickly recovers, grabs Waluigi, hits him a few times, then throws him downward!

Voice: Waluigi tries the Springy Jump, but Melusine rolls back, leaving Waluigi vunerable! Melusine takes advantage of this by Upward-Smashing him!

Saiyaman: Waluigi manages to slam Melusine with a downward attack, then throws her! He tries following up with a Fireball, but she shields against it and uses the Earthquake against him!

Voice: Melusine slams Waluigi with a running attack, but Waluigi Smashes her over the edge! Luckily, she manages to double-jump back and throws him!

Saiyaman: Melusine slices through Waluigi with a Water Disc, but he counters with a throw!

ML: 103% WaL: 71%

Voice: Melusine takes advantage of her distance to charge up the Fire Breath as Waluigi heads toward her! Waluigi tries to use a running attack, but Melusine hops over and behind him, then grabs him and throws him upward!

Saiyaman: Waluigi lands with an aireal attack on her, but she strikes back with a Smash attack! Waluigi goes flying back, but Melusine fires the Fire Breath as he lands! Waluigi goes flying over the edge and is out!

Voice: Now, Tron has entered the arena, all decked out in her mech! She tries to slam into Melusine with the Bonne Strike, but Melusine dodges and strikes her from behind!

Saiyaman: Melusine transforms back into her spellcaster form and uses the Magic Barrier against Tron's Rocket Punch! She strikes back with a Water Disc!

Voice: Tron slams into Melusine and throws her! Melusine grabs the edge, but Tron uses her Activate move and it's successful! She punches Melusine a bit, then Smashes her once it wear off, sending Melusine out!

(Nothing happens for a bit.)

Saiyaman: Um, isn't she supposed to come back now?

Voice: Hang on. (Hits a few buttons in his private booth.) That should do it.

Saiyaman: Melusine returns on the revival platform and starts whacking Tron during her invicible period! Tron, lacking neccesary speed to escape, is getting damaged badly, but the invicibility has worn off, so she does a low kick to knock Melusine back!

Voice: Melusine takes that landing pretty rough, but she pushes herself back up, ducks under Tron's punch and Smashes her!

Saiyaman: Tron comes back with the Bonne Strike, but Melusine counters with a throw!

ML: 19%D1 TB: 52%

Voice: Melusine begins charging the Hydro Blast, but rolls away to avoid an aireal attack from Tron! She then hits Tron with a running attack!

Saiyaman: Tron grabs Melusine, then throws her downward and follows up with a low Smash, sending Melusine flying! Melusine recovers and finishes charging the Hydro Blast!

Voice: Tron tries heading for Melusine for another attack, but Melusine gets her with the Hydro Blast! Tron goes flying over the edge and tries to come back with the Kubon Copter!

Saiyaman: Unfortunately, Melusine is waiting for her with an Upward Smash! Tron goes flying and Melusine leaps up and slams her down and over the edge! The game is over!

THIS GAME'S WINNER IS...MELUSINE!

Melusine: Yes! That was fun!

Saiyaman: That's good to hear. Let's go to the blue screen.

(The blue screen appears again, except it's pink this time.)

Please include your name and some basic background information about yourself. Also, a list of B moves for the Battle section is required.You may pick the three opponents you wish to battle. They can be any SSS character you want, including dead ones. However, they can’t be all the same. Also, we have the right to place you against different opponents as we wish. Please note however, that we can’t actually make you a Superpower in any way. This is only for fun and you cannot receive nor donate any actual prizes in any way. Limit of one application per person. Extra applications from the same person will be deleted upon arrival.

Saiyaman: I'll get someone to take a look at that later.

Voice: Good night, everyone. This is the Voice, off to go get a good dinner.

Saiyaman: See you next time!

(Fade out.)
