Voice: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?", the show that brings back things you thought were dead! And now, here's your host, who has been through the desert on a horse with no name, the Great Saiyaman!
(Saiyaman walks out and sits down.)
Saiyaman: Too bad the death part is limited to pop culture. Welcome back, folks.
Voice: So we've made it up to thirty shows now. A pretty good run, eh?
Saiyaman: Very much so. So, let's bring our contestant, Quinn!
(Quinn walks in and takes a seat.)
Saiyaman: Thanks for being on the show, Quinn.
Quinn: My pleasure.
Saiyaman: So, Quinn, how does it feel being our thirtieth contestant on the show?
Quinn: Feels great. I'm feeling very confidient today.
Saiyaman: That's good to hear. Your prize today is this handy guide book "World Domination for Dummies".
Quinn: I'm not really into taking over the world.
Voice: So, do you know how to play?
Quinn: Yup, I answer your questions and fight three opponents.
Saiyaman: That's it! So, let's play "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"!
(The lights dim and the dramatic music plays.)
Saiyaman: Let's begin the Knowledge section. All set?
Quinn: Yup!
Voice: How many known Pokemon are there?
Quinn: Uh...five-hundred, I guess?
Saiyaman: Who was the hidden boss of Super Mario RPG?
Quinn: Culex.
Voice: what is the approximate population of China?
Quinn: Over one billion.
Saiyaman: How many forms does the Ten Powers sword have?
Quinn: Ten. That was a little too easy.
Saiyaman: In retrospect, I should've thought that one out more.
Voice: Who is t.A.T.u?
Quinn: I think it's a singing group of some kind.
TIME!!!
Saiyaman: All right, that brings us to the Creativity section. This time, what would you do in the event of a zombie outbreak?
Quinn: That's not so bad. As long as you can get reliable transport, I'd probably just escape them. I'd make sure to stay away from any shopping malls as well.
Saiyaman: As sane an answer as any. Head for the arena.
(Quinn heads into the arena.)
Saiyaman: As Quinn gets ready for his match, let's go to a commercial.
(The commercial begins playing.)
Voice: Tired of being forced to live up to artifical standards of beauty? Now, you can actually meet them with the new "RPG-Style Diet", where you can gain the figures of RPG females! Listen to some of our satisifed customers.
Penelo: Before I went on the RPG-Style Diet, I had to watch what I ate all the time, but this new system has been perfect! Now, I just eat when I need to regain HP and I can eat whatever I want! In just a few weeks, I lost twenty pounds and I've gone up a cup size!
Pepper Box: I never realized how little I actually needed to ate until after I went on the RPG-Style Diet. It makes maintaining my incredible figure even easier than before. Packing for dungeons is a heck of a lot easier as well!
Voice: See your local health store for more details on the RPG-Style Diet today!
(Now, back to the show.)
Saiyaman: Welcome back. As you know, our contestant must defeat three foes with two lives and no items. Let's take a look at his moveset.
Saiyaman: In another blast from the past, in addition to Falco and Peach as opponents, Quinn also requested Banjo and Kazooie to come back and they agreed for this fight. Our arena is Final Destination. Falco is first up and Quinn has entered the arena, so it's time to get going.
***Begin Corny Intro***
Saiyaman: Ladies and gentlemen...
Voice: Boys and girls...
Saiyaman: Hand grenades and machine guns...
Voice: SSS brings for the thirtieth time...
***End Corny Intro***
Saiyaman: Falco wastes no time, whipping out a few Blaster shots at Quinn! Quinn's just as fast, reflecting those two shots back at Falco with Mirror Coat!
Voice: Quinn uses Falco's stun to move in, but Falco recovers before he can make it and intercepts with a low attack! Falco continues that into a combo, hitting with some weak punches!
Saiyaman: Falco finishes with a Reflector to knock Quinn back, which Quinn uses to start throwing Fireballs! Falco uses his Reflector again, but Quinn leaps over them and hits from above!
Voice: Quinn begins a combo of his own with a few blows and charging up a Psy Ball to hit Falco with the ball itself! Quinn then rolls behind Falco before he can disrupt the charge and uses a Smash!
Saiyaman: Falco lands on his feet and heads back, giving Quinn time to finish charging before Falco hits with a running attack! Quinn quickly responds to that with a few punches!
Voice: Falco soon breaks free with a Falco Phantasm, turning to attack with a Smash! The blow hits, knocking Quinn to the right!
Saiyaman: Quinn gets back on his feet as Falco heads towards him, trying another Falco Phantasm! Quinn manages to roll away from this attack and uses the Psy Ball at point-blank range!
QU: 24% FL: 71%
Voice: Falco is over the edge of the arena now, but a Fire Bird brings him back! He hits the ground running, evading a low Smash from Quinn!
Saiyaman: Quinn follows him with Teleport, warping just in front of Falco and grabbing him! A quick blow and a downward toss soon follow!
Voice: Falco is back up after that and shields some more of Quinn's blows. Once Quinn tries a grab, Falco rolls behind him and grabs him, tossing him to the left!
Saiyaman: That puts Quinn close to the edge, so Falco uses another running attack to soften Quinn up! Quinn uses Mirror Coat to knock Falco off balance, allowing him to power up a Psy Ball partly.
Voice: Falco gets back on his feet and smacks Quinn with some Blaster shots just after he stopped the charging. Falco tries to head in while Quinn is recovering, only to have Quinn side-step him and uses a Smash, KOing him off the arena's left side!
Saiyaman: Peach now enters the arena and Quinn is ready for her with several punches! Peach is ready too and uses Toad to reflect the blows!
Toad: You know, it was either this or law school.
Voice: As Toad ponders a career change, Peach puts him away as she goes into a Hip Bomber! Quinn shields the attack and counters with a low Smash!
Saiyaman: Peach puts some room between the two by using her Parasol to both hit Quinn and float away! Quinn tosses a few Fireballs after her, two of them striking as she touches down!
Voice: Peach pulls out a Vegetable and uses it against Quinn, who uses Mirror coat to reflect it. Peach easily dodges that reflected vegetable by leaping, using an aireal attack against Quinn!
Saiyaman: Peach gets in a few slaps until Quinn uses a brief pause in her attacking to hit with his own blows! He then throws her away and finishes charging the Psy Ball from earlier!
Voice: Storing the charge for later, Quinn goes on the offensive, smacking Peach with a running attack as she gets up from the throw! He follows that up with a upward Smash, but that gives Peach time to float away from his follow-up attack!
QU: 66% PT: 50%
Saiyaman: Peach finds herself a little too close to the right edge of the arena for her taste, it seems. As Quinn heads towards her, she rolls behind him and uses a Hip Bomber!
Voice: Quinn quickly recovers from that attack and prepares himself from another series of slaps from Peach with his shield! Once an opening presents itself, he performs a punching combo of his own!
Saiyaman: Peach slips a a low Smash to throw Quinn off and whips out a Vegetable as well! Quinn is able to dodge the incoming produce and attacks with Fireball!
Voice: The Fireball gives Quinn a little time to dash back in with a running attack and a Smash attack! Peach flies over to the left area of the arena, but lands on her feet and pulls out another Vegetable as Quinn arrives!
Saiyaman: Quinn is able to evade this veggie too with a jump and strikes Peach with his Psy Ball! The hit is strong, but Peach just manages to float back with her Parasol and grab the ledge, despite a smack from a Fireball!
Voice: Peach attacks as she climbs up, forcing Quinn to step back as she gets back up. Quinn attempts a Smash attack on Peach, but she's quick to leap over the attack and come down with her own blow!
Saiyaman: Quinn decides to take advantage of this and hits with an upward Smash! This knocks Peach up into the air, enough to go over the arena's top boundary for a KO!
Voice: Finally, here comes Banjo-Kazooie! Using their distance, they toss a few eggs over at Quinn, who nimbly leaps over them and counters with Mirror Coat to knock them back!
Saiyaman: Banjo leaps over the attack of eggs, allowing for a Beak Barge upon landing! Quinn is struck by the attack and flies a good distance, but manages to catch the edge!
QU: 102% BK: 0%
Voice: Quinn pulls himself up, rolling just in time to avoid a Bill Drill attack! He begins to hit with a few blows, but Banjo grabs him and Kazooie starts pecking mercilessly!
Saiyaman: Not surprisingly, Banjo takes the opportunity to heave Quinn off the edge! Quinn hits the border before he can recover and is KOed!
Voice: Quinn is back on the revival platform and starts charging his Psy Ball! The duo keep their distance from him, but that doesn't Kazooie fire some eggs in preparation for him to be vunerable again!
Saiyaman: The invincibility wears off, but Quinn isn't ready, so he get some egg on him and loses the charge! Banjo and Kazooie are heading towards him now, so he hits with a running attack before they can!
Voice: Kazooie initiates a Flip-Flap Jump before Quinn can strike again, stunning Quinn and sending the other two to safety! Once they land, Banjo goes back into the fray with a running attack!
Saiyaman: Quinn uses Mirror Coat to knock Banjo back and continues with a Smash! Kazooie responds with a Beak Barge only to have Quinn dodge the attack by leaping!
voice: Using this air-time, Quinn hits with an aireal attack on his way down and begins a punching combo! Banjo and Kazooie soon break free of this by leaping and doing a Bill Drill!
Saiyaman: Quinn is knocked back, so he uses this distance to try starting another Psy Ball. Kazooie fires a few eggs to try and stop him, but this time, Quinn dodges them with ease!
QU: 36%D1 BK: 57%
Voice: Quinn finishes charging his Psy Ball as Banjo heads in to deliver a Smash attack! The blow connects, but Quinn holds firm and heads back with a few Fireballs, some of which hit before Banjo can safely dodge!
Saiyaman: The Fireballs allow Quinn to sneak in safely and start a combo, scoring several hits! Banjo manages to roll away from Quinn and follow up with a Beak Barge, striking Quinn!
Voice: Quinn decides to grab this time, tossing the two fighters to the right and following up with his Psy Ball! The combo knocks them to the edge, but a double-jump saves them!
Saiyaman: Banjo barely touches down before he's hit by a running attack by Quinn! Kazooie starts an escape from Quinn with a Flip-Flap Jump, but Quinn uses Teleport to reappear in front of their location before they land!
Voice: Using this time, Quinn powers up a stronger Smash attack and strikes the falling duo! The blow is enough to knock them away and another Flip-Flap jump can't save them from a KO!
THIS GAME'S WINNER IS...QUINN!
Quinn: YEAH! That felt great! Woo-hooo!
Saiyaman: Ah, another satisifed contestant. Let's go to the blue screen.
