Who Wants to be a Superpower?

Voice: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?", the show that shouldn't be confused with "Who Wants to be a Superhero?"! And now, here's your host, the king of beef jerky, the Great Saiyaman!

(We're back to the old set.)

Saiyaman: And boy, is that a tasty position to hold! Welcome back, folks!

Voice: Heh, I'll bet you wish that was a real position.

Saiyaman: Oh, do I ever. But for now, let's meet today's contestant, Strongguy!

(Applause is heard as Strongguy enters and takes his seat.)

Saiyaman: Thanks for coming on the show today, Strongguy.

Strongguy: Happy to be here.

Voice: Why don't tell the home audience a little about yourself?

Strongguy: I'm considered a good leader at my age. I also possess good swordsmanship.

Saiyaman: Well-balanced, that's always good. For your prize this time, we have a book by Dr. Mario on health care, entitled "Pills Can Solve Any Infection."

Strongguy: I'm not certain about that.

Voice: I'll check on his offical medical background later.

Saiyaman: He does have several years equivalent work experience. Anywho, you know how to play?

Strongguy: Yes, I do. I answer your questions and fight opponents I picked.

Saiyaman: Right! Now, it's time to play "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"!

(The lights dim and disco music plays.)

Saiyaman: So, it's time for the Knowledge section! Ready?

Strongguy: You bet!

Voice: Who is Dr. McNinja?

Strongguy: He's a doctor...and a ninja.

Saiyaman: How many Enterprises have there been over the course of the "Star Trek" series?

Strongguy: Uh...over ten, I think.

Voice: What is the maximum level in Paper Mario?

Strongguy: Lv. 27.

Saiyaman: How many seasons of Red vs Blue have there been?

Strongguy: Five.

Voice: How much has the Child's Play charity raised over its lifetime?

Strongguy: Over two million dollars.

Saiyaman: Who wrote "Moby Dick"?

Strongguy: Herman Melville.

TIME!!

Saiyaman: Next, we move on to Creativity! For your challenge today, you must tell us what the greatest thing ever created was and why.

Strongguy: The greatest thing was...Super Smash Bros, because without it, we wouldn't be here today.

Saiyaman: Perfect answer! Okay, head for the arena.

(Strongguy leaves for the arena.)

Saiyaman: The tradition continues, as our contestant fights three foes with two lives and no items. Let's see his moveset of choice.

  • B: Punch of Destiny (Metal's Metal Fist.)
  • B+Up: Hyper Cut (Roy's Flare Blade.)
  • B+Right: Hyper Dash (Fox's Fox Illusion.)
  • B+Down: Mega Punch (Falcon's Falcon Punch.)

    Saiyaman: A nice variety of opponents this time around, as Strongguy will be fighting Yoshi, Bowser and Marth. Strongguy enters the arean and Yoshi is first up, so let's get started!

    ***Begin Corny Intro***

    Saiyaman: Ladies and gentlemen...

    Voice: Slimes and dragons...

    Saiyaman: Pokemon of all ages...

    Voice: SSS is shamed to still be bringing you...

    ***End Corny Intro***

    Saiyaman: Yoshi starts off with the Egg Roll, heading straight for Strongguy! Strongguy decides to intercept with Mega Punch, but his timing is a little off and he gets smacked!

    Voice: Yoshi turns around for another hit, but Strongguy leaps over him this time. Yoshi decides to stop the attack, but Strongguy leads nearby him and hits with Hyper Dash!

    Saiyaman: Yoshi tries to Eggify Strongguy, but he's just a hair too far away for it to hit, giving Strongguy a chance to move in and grab Yoshi! He throws him to the right immediately.

    Voice: That gives Strongguy time to try another Mega Punch, which connects this time! Yoshi is knocked further away, but he lands on his feet and uses Egg Toss!

    Saiyaman: The egg just knicks Strongguy, giving Yoshi time to attempt a Ground Pound! The move misses as Yoshi flies over his target, only hitting with the star created on impact.

    Voice: Strongguy uses this change to use the Punch of Destiny, knocking Yoshi a good distance away! Yoshi lands on his feet, just out of range of Strongguy's attempted Hyper Dash!

    Saiyaman: Yoshi grabs Strongguy in his mouth and starts chewing, but Strongguy breaks free and grabs Yoshi in retaliation! He then smashes Yoshi into the ground!

    Voice: Yoshi gets back up and recieves a Hyper Cut as he does! Fortunately, the time between Strongguy's landing and Yoshi's gives Yoshi time to recover and get beneath for a upward Smash!

    St: 32% Yh 71%

    Saiyaman: Strongguy falls to the right after that hit, but manages to land safely before taking a few kicks from Yoshi! Yoshi tries to Eggify him, but Strongguy manages to leap over the tounge and uses a Hyper Dash over Yoshi to get away from the edge!

    Voice: Once Strongguy lands, Yoshi tries a Smash, but Strongguy is ready with his shield! As soon as the Smash hits the shield, Strongguy drops it and fires back with his own Smash, sending Yoshi over the edge!

    Saiyaman: Yoshi just manages to leap back to the edge and pulls himself up, rolling as he does to avoid another of Strongguy's attacks. He then manages to grab Strongguy in his mouth and throws him to the left!

    Voice: Strongguy lands a little towards the center of the arena and pulls himself up just in time to get hit with the Egg Roll! Yoshi tries again, but Strongguy dodges his subsiquent attempts!

    Saiyaman: Yoshi soon stops with the attack as Strongguy heads towards him and hits with a running attack! A good toss finds Yoshi flying off the right edge of the arena again, this time for a KO!

    Voice: Next in the arena is Bowser, who starts off with his Fire Breath! Strongguy gets scorched before he can react, but soon backs off.

    Saiyaman: Bowser flies towards Strongguy with the Bowser Bomb, but just misses. This gives Strongguy time to use the Mega Punch, which hits but can't yet send Bowser flying!

    Voice: Still relatively close, Bowser is able to use his Koopa Claw, gnawing viciously into Strongguy! Before Strongguy can break away, Bowser gives him a good toss to the right!

    Saiyaman: As Strongguy lands, Bowser follows with a horizontal Whirling Fortress, which Strongguy leaps over! He lands behind Bowser and uses a Punch of Destiny, only to have it shielded by Bowser!

    Voice: Bowser put up that shield a tad early, though. The force is enough to cause the shield to shatter! While Bowser is stunned, Strongguy pumps a Smash attack and scores a strong hit!

    Saiyaman: Bowser goes even closer to the edge now, so he decides to make a break for the left side. Leaping over a running attack from Strongguy, he heads back towards the center of the arena.

    Voice: Strongguy immediately made an about-face after Bowser hopped over him and started heading towards him, cutting him off with the Hyper Dash! Gaining a brief advantage, he turns again and uses a Hyper Cut!

    St: 82% Bw: 48%

    Saiyaman: The two fighters land on the arena's floor again, with Strongguy striking another blow thanks to a more graceful landing. He grabs Bowser and tosses him into the ground!

    Voice: Strongguy prepares a Mega Punch to great Bowser, to which Bowser dodges with a roll! He winds up behind Strongguy and hits with a Bowser Bomb while Strongguy was recovering from the punch!

    Saiyaman: Strongguy is up in the air, so Bowser follows with the Whirling Fortress! Strongguy pulls off a mid-air dodge, however, so the two just fall harmlessly back to the ground.

    Voice: Once they hit, Strongguy slips in a running attack to knock Bowser off balance, then follows up with a quick low Smash! He tries a Hyper Dash as well, but Bowser cuts him off just before he hits with his Fire Breath!

    Saiyaman: Bowser cuts off the Fire Breath before too long and grabs Strongguy with his Koopa Claw, biting him hard! Strongguy manages to free himself and hits with Hyper Cut!

    Voice: Bowser recovers quickly from the attack and powers up a Smash, hitting just as Strongguy comes down! The force of the blow knocks him at a 45-degree angle, enough to send him out the top and KO him!

    Saiyaman: Strongguy is back on the arena floor with Bowser shielding against his attacks! Once Strongguy's invunerability wears off, Bowser drops his shield to go on the offensive, but Strongguy manages to grab him first!

    Voice: Strongguy heaves Bowser to the left and hits him on the way down with a Hyper Dash! He then gives Bowser a few good punches, but Bowser rolls back to the right!

    Saiyaman: Bowser tries a few slashes, but Strongguy shields against the blows. He then counters with a quick Smash attack, sending Bowser to the far right of the arena!

    Voice: Strongguy makes a mad run over to Bowser and prepares another Smash attack, connecting as Bowser comes into range! The blow sends Bowser over the right edge of the arena and KOs him!

    Saiyaman: That just leaves Marth, who starts things off with his Sword Dance to jab Strongguy three times as he moves in! Strongguy tries to slip in his own attack, but it's countered with, well, Counter.

    St: 17%D1 Mth: 0%

    Voice: Marth now goes on the attack, taking a few swings at Strongguy which are shielded against. Strongguy uses Hyper Dash to run into Marth and knock him into the air.

    Saiyaman: Marth lands on his feet, only to take a Mega Punch! He gets knocked a few feet back, but recovers and dodges a running attack from Strongguy!

    Voice: Marth is quick to turn and grab Strongguy, smacking him once and throwing him into the ground! Strongguy pulls himself back up and blocks another jab, then retaliates with a few quick punches!

    Saiyaman: Strongguy finished with a Hyper Cut, knocking Marth back enough to let him land safely! However, Marth powers up a Shield Breaker midway before Strongguy can land and it hits once it launched!

    Voice: Strongguy gets back on his feet from that hit only to get another slice from Marth! However, he manages to roll away from Marth's Sword Dance and strikes with Hyper Dash!

    Saiyaman: Strongguy turns around as Marth flies down, following Marth as he flies to the right! He attempts to use a running attack against him, but a Counter from Marth knockes him back as Marth lands on his feet!

    Voice: As Strongguy picks himself back up, Marth powers up a Shield Breaker, only to miss when Strongguy rolls out of the way! Strongguy then pulls off a running attack and follows up with a low attack!

    St: 62%D1 Mth: 56%

    Saiyaman: Marth does a short hop to avoid another attack from Strongguy and slices at him as he hits the ground! He continues the attack with his Dolphin Slash, but Strongguy shields against it!

    Voice: With Marth left vunerable due to his hang time, Strongguy pulls off a Punch of Destiny, smashing Marth just over the right edge! Marth pulls off a mid-air jump to make it back as Strongguy heads towards him.

    Saiyaman: Strongguy uses a upward Smash as Marth lands, only to have Marth pull off a mid-air dodge! Marth lands safely, but Strongguy is ready with a follow-up Smash to the right! At this close, it's enough for a KO!

    THIS GAME'S WINNER IS...STRONGGUY!

    Strongguy: All right! I feel fantastic!

    Saiyaman: Glad to hear it. Let's show the blue screen.

    (The blue screen appears again.)

Please include your name and some basic background information about yourself. Also, a list of B moves for the Battle section is required. You may pick the three opponents you wish to battle. They can be any SSS character you want, including dead ones. However, they can’t be all the same. Also, we have the right to place you against different opponents as we wish. Please note however, that we can’t actually make you a Superpower in any way. This is only for fun and you cannot receive nor donate any actual prizes in any way. Limit of one application per person. Extra applications from the same person will be deleted upon arrival.

    Voice: All right, folks, this is the Voice, hoping you all get your chance to be on the show...if that's what you actually want to do.

    Saiyaman: So long, folks.

    Strongguy: Goodbye!

    (Fade out.)
