Who Wants to be a Superpower?

Voice: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"! It's the show that makes "Super Mario Bros." look good! Now, here's your host, the Great Saiyaman!

(We open to the set. Saiyaman has already seated himself.)

Saiyaman: Folks, before we get started, we're going to do something we rarely are at SSS: We're going to be serious.

Voice: Yes, we are.

Saiyaman: Mainly, we sincerly apologize for the lack of episodes that there have been. At first, they were fun, but when updates took forever to get them up, we lost interest in filming them. However, now that I am offically the man in charge of the Random section, they're back and just as good as before!

Voice: That means there's more of us, much to your complete dismay.

Saiyaman: That's right, so put away the party favors and hide the alcohol, we're back for all your self-inflicted punishment needs! Now, let's get this show going by introducing our victim-I mean contestant, Korama666!

(Korama666 walks out on the set and sits down.)

Korama666: Way cool! I'm on TV! I'm famous! I'm somebody!

Saiyaman: Being on a show doesn't make you famous.

Voice: Trust us, we know that.

Korama666: Hey, what am I playing for?

Saiyaman: Have you ever wanted to call the sexiest movie star you've ever seen?

Korama666: Oh yeah!

Saiyaman: You can with your grand prize: a brand-new phone card! (Displays the prize.)

Korama666: Uh....okay...

Voice: You know how to play?

Korama666: Um...you test me and make me fight some guys.

Saiyaman: That's close enough. Let's play "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"!

(Lights dim, dramatic music.)

Korama666: You know you're ripping off "Who Wants to be a Millionare?", don't you?

Saiyaman: (Looking innocent) Um...nooooooo...

Voice: Shall we get started?

Saiyaman: Right, and we'll start with Knowledge! Ready?

Korama666: Yeah, I guess.

Voice: Who was the first real villan to invade the SSS and cause problems?

Korama: Powers.

Saiyaman: What is the name of the message board area where everyone hangs out?

Korama: Meleenium.

Voice: Who is the current president of the SSS?

Korama: Zeratul.

Saiyaman: Name three bosses from Megaman 8.

Korama: Grenade Man, Astro Man and Clown Man.

Voice: What is the meaning of life?

Korama: Um...forty-two?

Saiyaman: What game were the Super Emeralds in?

Korama: Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

TIME!

Saiyaman: All right, now we move on to Creativity! Today's situation is this: you're...

(Some guy runs in.)

Guy: THERE'S A METEOR HEADING FOR THE STADIUM!

Saiyaman: There's your problem. Go blow up that meteor.

Korama: Okay! (runs out)

Voice: Was that a smart move?

Saiyaman: No, but it solves two problems.

KABOOM!

Saiyaman: See?

(Korama stumbles in.)

Saiyaman: How'd it go?

Korama: Not bad. I'll never stop a meteor with my body again, though.

Voice: Go heal up, then we'll start the battle!

(Korama takes a Heart Container, then leaves for the arena.)

Saiyaman: The rules remain the same. It's three foes, no items. Korama's initals are KR. Let's check that move list...


  • B: Flame Thrower: Bowser's Fire Breath.
  • B+Up: Shadow Sword: Marth's Dolphin Slash, only darker.
  • B+Right: Rose Whip: Shiek's Whip except it has thorns to hit a little more.
  • B+Down: Crushing Bodyblow: It's Hip Drop, except Korama uses his whole body.

    Saiyaman: The foes today are Bowser, Mewtwo and Mario. The arena is Final Destination.

    Voice: Korama teleports in and Bowser flies in on the Koopa Copter, so let's get started!

    ***Begin Corny Intro***

    Saiyaman: Ladies and gentlemen, children who are here, SSS brings you...

    Voice: THE INVISIBLE VOICE, VOICE!

    Saiyaman: THE DBZ HERO/MAVERICK HUNTER, SAIYAMAN!

    Both: THE SSS COMMENTATORS!

    Saiyaman: Now for the hundreds in attendance...

    Voice: And for the hundreds watching world-wide...

    Saiyaman: IT'S SMASHING TIME!

    ***End Corny Intro***

    Voice: Bowser starts off with the Bowser Bomb, but Korama dodges and gets him with the Flame Thrower!

    Saiyaman: Bowser retaliates by with the Koopa Klaw!

    Voice: Korama pokes Bowser with the Rose Whip, but Bowser stops him with the Fire Breath, then a running attack!

    Saiyaman: Korama fires back with the Flame Thrower, then follows up with a Crushing Bodyblow!

    Voice: Bowser tries a smash attack, but Korama shields and hits him with the Shadow Sword! Let's see the stats.

    KR: 32% B: 45%

    Saiyaman: Bowser tries to connect with the Whirling Fortress, but Korama jumps away and gets in a few punches!

    Voice: Bowser's getting mad! He's just thrown Korama to the right!

    Saiyaman: Korama lands and gets Bowser with the Rose Whip while Bowser is running toward him!

    Voice: Bowser's getting smacked by the whip a bit, then he's tossed off the edge!

    KR: 41% B: 71%

    Saiyaman: As Bowser returns, Korama prepares a smash attack! Bowser comes back with the Whirling Fortress, but gets smashed over the edge! He's outta there!

    Voice: But here comes Mewtwo! He's got Korama with Disable and a smash attack!

    Saiyaman: Korama just gets back up from that hit and smacks Mewtwo around with some basic attacks, then a Shadow Sword attack!

    Voice: Mewtwo tries using Teleport to get behind Korama, but Korama is prepared with the Flame Thrower, followed up with Rose Whip!

    Saiyaman: Korama sure has the advantage in this fight. But, wait! Mewtwo just managed to throw Korama to the right, then charge up a Shadow Ball and hit him with that!

    KR: 71% MW: 37%

    Voice: Korama charges at Mewtwo for a running attack, but Mewtwo has his shield up!

    Saiyaman: Korama simply grabs Mewtwo and throws them! Then, he hits Mewtwo with the Crushing Bodyblow!

    Voice: Korama gets Mewtwo with a Smash attack!

    Saiyaman: But Mewtwo manages to get him with Confusion!

    Voice: Some basic attacks are exchanged, but Korama uses the Flame Thrower to gain the upper hand and throws Mewtwo!

    Saiyaman: Mewtwo lands and dashes at Korama, but Korama jumps over Mewtwo and lands a Meteor Smash!

    KR: 80% MW: 90%

    Voice: Mewtwo managed to Disabale Korama, but Korama snaps out of it just as Mewtwo throws him!

    Saiyaman: Korama makes it back with a double jump as Mewtwo heads straight for him!

    Voice: Korama throws Mewtwo off guard with the Shadow Sword, then uses a upward smash! Mewtwo is hit and is OUT!

    Saiyaman: But wait, here comes Super Mario! He attacks with those classic fireballs, throwing three, only two of which connect!

    Voice: Korama gives Mario a taste of his own medicine with the Flame Thrower, then follows up with a throw!

    KR: 102% MA: 19%

    Saiyaman: Mario lands, then tries his running attack, but Korama leaps over it! Mario grabs him as he comes down and throws him! He's a goner!

    Voice: Luckily, he still had an extra life, so he comes back and begins a major thwack-feast on Mario with a lot of punches!

    Saiyaman: But once the invincibility wears off, Mario uses the Cape to flip him, then he uses the Mario Tornado on him!

    Voice: Korama uses that moment for a Crushing Bodyblow on Mario!

    KR: 15%D1 MA: 41%

    Saiyaman: Mario tries a Smash, but Korama does a dodge and Smashes him! As Mario flies through the air, Korama runs after him and gets him with the Shadow Sword!

    Voice: Mario lands face-first, but gets up, only to be thrown again! He tries to jump back, but he messed up the timing, so he is goooooooone!

    THE WINNER IS...KORAMA!

    Korama: Oh yeah! Who da man?

    Saiyaman: Groovy! Folks, if you'd like to be on the show, here's how...

    (The blue screen appears again.)

Please include your name and some basic background information about yourself. Also, a list of B moves for the Battle section is required.You may pick the three opponents you wish to battle. They can be any SSS character you want, including dead ones. However, they can’t be all the same. Also, we have the right to place you against different opponents as we wish. Please note however, that we can’t actually make you a Superpower in any way. This is only for fun and you cannot receive nor donate any actual prizes in any way. Limit of one application per person. Extra applications from the same person will be deleted upon arrival.

    Saiyaman: So long!

    (Fade out.)
