Who Wants to be a Superpower?

Voice: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"! It's the most popular and only show on SSS! Now, here's your host, the Great Saiyaman!

(Open to the set. Voice is there and so is the audience, but no Saiyaman.)

Voice: Where is he?

(Suddenly, Saiyaman flies in through the roof, strikes a pose and sits down.)

Voice: Nice dramatic entrance. Hey, if there's no skylight, how'd...never mind.

Saiyaman: Welcome to "Who Wants to be a Superpower?", where innocent fans can be SP's in their own mind!

Voice: So, just what did you do last episode while you were gone?

Saiyaman: I went fishing, Voice. Caught this big trout late in the day. A real fighter, that one.

Voice: Sounds like you had a good time, then.

Saiyaman: Of course. Where else can you take a three-hour nap and call it a sport? By the way, I did see the episode that Amber hosted. She did really good. Maybe I should have her back.

Voice: You might want to. We could use the popularity boost.

Saiyaman: Well, it's time to get the show started with our contestant, Violet the Lillymon!

(Violet walks out and sits down.)

Violet: Yay! I'm on TV!

Voice: Welcome to the show.

Violet: Wheee! Hiiiii, Eric!

Saiyaman: Isn't that cute?

Voice: Shall we get the show started?

Saiyaman: Yes, we shall, Voice. You know how to play. Beat Knowledge, Creativity and Battle and you win something!

Violet: What is it?

Saiyaman: The prize today is a free coffin of your choice from "Tim's House of Coffins", where their motto is "Good Grief!"

Violet: ........

Saiyaman: Well, let's play "Who Wants to be a Superpower?"!

(Lights dim, dramatic music.)

Saiyaman: Let's get started with, as usual, Knowledge! Ready?

Violet: Yeah, I guess.

Voice: Which fighters became part of the Stadium on match 69?

Violet: Easy. Bowser, Peach, Zelda and the Ice Climbers.

Saiyaman: Who is the guy who runs VGF?

Violet: Shane Sacobie.

Voice: What is Dr. Eggman's original name?

Violet: Dr. Robotnik.

Saiyaman: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Violet: ...Pass.

Voice: What is the Biolizard?

Violet: An attempt to create the ultimate life form by Professor Gerald Robotnik.

Saiyaman: Who is the only fighter at SSS who never got an end-of-the-match interview?

Violet: Daffy Duck.

TIME!

Saiyaman: You've passed, so let's move on to Creativity! The scenario: There's a burning building, and you're trying to put it out. However, you have no hose or even a bucket, but there is a fire hydrant. How can you put out the fire?

Violet: Simple. Just blast the fire hydrant with a good shot and the thing will spurt water over the building, putting out the fire.

Voice: Yep, that's good enough. Let's move on to the Battle!

(Violet leaves for the arena.)

Saiyaman: The traditional rules apply. Three foes, no items. Let's review Violet's moves.

  • Up+B- Sing (Jigglypuff's attack)
  • B: Flower Cannon- Charging energy attack.
  • Foward+B: Raptor Boost (Falcon's flaming uppercut attack)
  • Down+B: Reflector (Fox's attack)

    Voice: Violet has chosen to fight Megaman, Yoshi and Link and her initals are Vi. The arena is, as usual, Final Destination. It looks like Violet's flying in and Megaman's teleporting in, so it's time to start!

    ***Begin Corny Intro***

    Saiyaman: Ladies and gentlemen, the SSS brings you...

    Voice: THE INVISIBLE VOICE!

    Saiyaman: THE DBZ HERO SAIYAMAN!

    Both: THE COMMENTATORS!

    Saiyaman: Now, for the hundred or so in attendance...

    Voice: And for the couple hundred more watching world-wide...

    Saiyaman: IT'S SMASHING TIME!

    ***End Corny Intro***

    Voice: Both of them are charging their projectiles!

    Saiyaman: They finish charging their moves and rush toward each other!

    Voice: Megaman uses the Mega Slide, but Violet jumps over him and uses the Raptor Boost on him!

    Saiyaman: While Mega gets back up, she kicks him with a low smash!

    Voice: Megaman recovers and tries to attack her with a kick in mid-air, but she easily dodges it!

    Saiyaman: Megaman used that to get close enough to use Mega Upper, which connects to her back!

    Voice: Violet lands and uses a smash attack on Mega, knocking him to the right!

    VI: 12% MM: 39%

    Saiyaman: Vi fires the Flower Cannon, which hits!

    Voice: Megaman fires the Mega Buster, but Violet knocks it back at him with Reflector, sending Megaman over the edge!

    Saiyaman: He uses a double jump to get back!

    Voice: Violet runs at him, but he's ready with Mega Slide!

    Saiyaman: Vi is knocked up, but lands behind him and throws!

    Voice: Megaman tries to get back, but is knocked down with a uncharged Flower Cannon and is out!

    Saiyaman: Now, here comes Yoshi!

    Voice: Yoshi uses the classic Eggify move on Vi and starts kicking that egg!

    Saiyaman: Violet breaks out and uses Sing! Yoshi is asleep!

    Voice: She uses that time to charge a smash attack! Yoshi is flying away!

    Saiyaman: He comes back using that big jump of his!

    VI: 38% Y: 14%ND

    Voice: Yoshi uses the Hip Drop!

    Saiyaman: Violet rolls away and throws Yoshi to the left!

    Voice: She then charges the Flower Cannon!

    Saiyaman: Yoshi gets back up from being thrown and charges toward Violet, who just finished charging the Flower Cannon!

    Voice: Violet is barely able to kick Yoshi away in time!

    Saiyaman: She follows up with the Raptor Boost!

    VI: 38% Y: 45%

    Voice: While Yoshi is knocked in the air, Violet jumps up and kicks him!

    Saiyaman: As soon as Yoshi lands, she blasts him with the Flower Cannon, sending him over the edge!

    Voice: Yoshi can't make it back! He's out!

    Saiyaman: Link lands in the arena and throws the Boomerang, which connects!

    Voice: Violet gets him with the Raptor Boost!

    Saiyaman: Now Link is...

    Voice: Saiyaman, you're getting a phone call.

    Saiyaman: Tell them to call me back; we're missing the match!

    Voice: What am I, your secretary? All right...what? No, this isn't Al's House of Used Cars! You've got the wrong number. (Hangs up.) Sorry about that, folks.

    Saiyaman: Oh, good grief. And we've missed so much fighting!

    VI: 64% L: 43%

    Voice: Link fires an arrow, which misses! He then pulls out a bomb!

    Saiyaman: Violet kicks him away, then runs up to Link and uses Sing! He's asleep!

    Voice: She uses the time to charge the Flower Cannon! She then throws Link!

    Saiyaman: Link wakes up, but the bomb explodes in his hands!

    Voice: Violet fires the Flower Cannon while Link is stunned from the bomb!

    Saiyaman: He's too close to the edge! He's out!

    THE WINNER IS...VIOLET THE LILLYMON!

    Violet: Yah, I won!

    Saiyaman: Good job. That's it for today's episode!

    Voice: Short ending today.

    Saiyaman: Yep, nothing much to say.

    (The blue screen appears again.)

Please note however, that we can’t actually make you a Superpower in any way. This is only for fun and you cannot receive nor donate any actual prizes in any way. Limit of one application per person. Extra applications from the same person will be deleted upon arrival.

    Saiyaman: Remember, there are no plotholes!

    Violet: Good-bye!

    (Fade out.)
