Summary:
Captain Douglas Jay Falcon
was born to race. He liked fast races like the Indy 500, but he
perfered the cars of the future (like ones you see on Sci-Fi movies).
He was an ex-cop, and now a part time Bounty Hunter. When he heard
of the F-Zero races and the prizes to be won, he quickly jumped aboard
the band wagon. At first, it wasn't that successful (only four cars the
first time). While trying to get people to come to the F-Zero X races,
four other competitors made five new tracks to the original F-Zero cup
which is known as the Ace League. They weren't the same as the
original, but had similar qualities of the originals. Okay, I'm getting
off topic...anyway, Falcon
managed to
get 29 drivers to compete, including his former three adversaries since
the first F-Zero races. To this day, Falcon
has been a
driving champion, and he has used his speed in Smash Brothers to come
up with powerful moves (his Falcon Punch can do the same damage as DK's Kong Punch and Samus's Charge
Shot in about 1/7 the time). If another F-Zero race comes along, you
know that Captain Falcon
will head there, but for now, he is perfecting his fighting style in
the arena.
Officially, Captain
Falcon
has arenas in Port Town and Big Blue, both official tracks in the
F-ZERO Grand Prix. Port Town Aero Dive has the fighters standing on a
platform as
it races along the track, dropping them off at intervals, ready to get
rammed by oncoming cars. Big Blue, on the other hand, has the fighters
fighting on the Falcon Flyer, Falcon's
ship, while trying to keep balance on the various racers below.
Captain Falcon's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Falcon Punch
- Say it with me... FALCON PUUUUCH!! It's Capt. Falcon's
signature move, and it's a quick move that's as powerful as a charged
attack. Now, Capt. Falcon can do a 180° to do a Falcon
Punch to opponents behind him as well. FALCON PUUUUCH!!
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Falcon Dive
- Ye-US! Capt. Falcon dives upwards and if he grabs his
opponent, he was cause damage with an explosion and then jump off of
the opponent. It's also Capt. Falcon's recovery move.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Raptor Boost
- Capt. Falcon dashes forward with his fist alight. If on
the ground, and it connects, he will uppercut the opponent, setting
them on fire and into the air. If used in the air, this becomes a
strong Meteor attack. If Falcon screws up and doesn't connect, he will
stumble, leaving him vulnerable.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Falcon Kick
- Falcon Kick! Capt. Falcon does a fiery kick at his
opponents, which gives great horizantal distance on the ground, but
goes diagonally in the air. It's one of his most famous moves.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Blue Falcon
- Like many other Final Smashes, Captain Falcon summons
help. In this case, it's old number 7 of the F-Zero Grand Prix, the
Blue Falcon. Captain Falcon jumps into his vehicle as it drives in and
hits the opponents. The opponents then land on a race track in the
F-Zero Grand Prix, and the Blue Falcon run over them for a photo
finish! Don't become Falcon Road Kill!
