Summary:
Digifanatic is one
of the more on-and-off people in the factions of
Super Smash Stadium as well as Super Smash Quest. His endeavours truly
began at a young age, as one of many Internet-wide witnesses of the
Omnimon/Diaboromon fight (if you need a refresher, the second segment
in the American "Digimon: The Movie"). About three and a half years
later, he received a call to the Digital World, but ultimately refused
it for a different group of fighters, the Questers.
Even though he was quite young at the time, he felt willing enough to
explore this other unknown realm (aside from the Digital World) and met
many other folks that he would find out to be associated with SSS in
one sense or another. However, he had an immaturity problem that left
him leaving SSQ after a while. Occasionally, during his time away from
the Questers, he found himself returning to this other planet,
Nintendus, as a spectator of sorts at Super Smash Stadium. He got to
host a few fan matches but he didn't necessarily see himself as a prime
choice for work there.
Then, a surprise return to the Questers came into what has turned into
a successful second tenure there. With new moves and a rekindled
fighting spirit, Digi
often saw himself becoming as interested into SSS
as he did SSQ. Soon enough, he got himself a second job as a Superpower
and hopes to be a prominent name in those ranks as well, both on stage
and in the booth.
His fighting style derives from many past and present abilities he has
utilized as a Quester, along with a couple of other tricks. While he
might slightly lack strength and stamina when compared to other SPs,
his above-average speed and outgoing personality always makes him an
interesting fellow to witness. In fact, he's carried one of his
old-school SSQ techniques, that of Overdriving*, into a Superpower
perk. Watch out, because he can deliver
some serious hurt for the 15 seconds he's in this souped-up status!
Digifanatic's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Fire Punch
- His signature attack in modern Smash Quest days. He
horizontally launches forth, full o' fire, and gives the target a nice
little burn. Does about 20%.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Flip Kick
- A Smash Stadium original that took the place of a past
move, Digi is able to sweep his legs around in a potent frontflip. A
good move to clear out targets on the ground or in midair, this deals
about 15% damage at its peak.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Blinding Ray
- A simple digital light ray that goes out forward
towards the target. It can go through targets if it hits one, so anyone
in a line should be careful. It only deals about 12% when normal but it
can immobilize the victim for a few seconds.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Running Charge
- A slightly weaker but faster and electrical variation
of Fire Fox, this attack can fry up the enemy and zap them good for
about 14%. Also, unlike Fire Fox, he can only go in the direction he's
facing.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Cybernetic Corrpution
- Digi glows in a maroon-and-white, brimming with cybernetic/digital
energy. It's kinda like Screw Attack but it deals damage a lot quicker,
and dealing enough damage will severly alter the target's physical
attributes, particularly speed and strength. And all he has to do is
essentially touch someone, since he's surrounded in all this energy, to
inflct damage. However, physical attacks help his own cause.
*Overdrive: After directly dealing 10 hits
or 150% damage on a single life (as in, no use of items), his stamina
and power are increased by about one-third for 15 seconds. He can only
Overdrive once per life, and if he loses a life within 15 seconds of
overdriving, he also loses the special status.
**Digiportation: Once every two minutes or so, he can port himself to
anywhere on the arena, to avoid frays, to get important items such as
Hearts or Hammers, etc.
