Kanto (She used to follow Ash and company
around
everywhere, between regions)
- Friends/Allies:
- Pikachu, Ash, and anybody else who will listen to her
sing (including one particular Loudred...)
- Enemies:
- Anyone who falls asleep while she's trying to sing,

- Powers and Abilities:
- She's tough for a balloon-type creature. She can Pound,
Doubleslap, Mega Punch, and use a few other Normal-type attacks, as
well as puff her body up with air so she can float and make herself
appear larger. Her trademark, however, is her singing, which can put
opponents to sleep and let her have her way with them. She is a master
of sleeping.

Her first match was Match 7 where she teamed up with Ash's Pikachu to take on the

Summary:
Jigglypuff, as
noted earlier, is the BALLOON Pokemon. The species is known for being a
fairly uncommon Pokemon which appears to trainers who find themselves
in the grasses around Mt. Moon in Kanto. Jigglypuff can also be spotted
in the surrounding regions of Johto and Hoenn, but in lesser numbers.
Regardless, Jigglypuff are known for their large, glowing eyes, which
seem to draw trainers and Pokemon alike. Their singing voice is
well-known for its ability to lull any listeners into sleep, which they
use to their advantage in the wild, running from sleeping opponents and
trainers. However, some Jigglypuff would rather not run from their
opponents, but wow them with their talent. And that's where THIS Jigglypuff comes in.
She began to follow Ash and company about midway through their trip
through the Indigo League. Wanting an audience and a stage for her
voice, imagine Jigglypuff's
chagrin when everyone zonked out at her first concert! This became a
guaranteed whenever she put on her show, and even though people warned
her not to sing, Jigglypuff
didn't want to listen; instead, she just doodled all over the faces of
anyone rude enough to take a nap during her performances!
During her travels following the band of heroes through the Pokemon
World, Jigglypuff has
gotten into her share of trouble, but also met some interesting
characters. Recently in Hoenn, she was introduced to a Loudred, who was
actually able to put up with her singing.* Overjoyed with this fact, it
seems Jigglypuff may
have finally ventured apart from the group to pursue her new fan. She
still returns once in a while, but her place is now with the only one
who will listen.
Jigglypuff was
invited to join the SSS by Ash's
Pikachu,
who was always the magnanimous type. Jigglypuff,
we hear, was incredibly excited; imagine all those new fans! Her voice
could be heard by millions! So she joined almost too happily, and has
been here ever since. Jigglypuff
doesn't win too many of her matches, if any, and her singing still
lulls people to sleep, but hey: she's got the tenacity of a shark.
She's just gonna keep going and going, and there won't be anything
stopping her from reaching the limelight. (Flip Troopa )
*Obviously, this is because
all Loudred have the innate trait "Soundproof" :p
Jigglypuff's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Rollout
- A 2-5 turn Rock-type move in the games, this works a
little differently in "reality." Jigglypuff begins rolling herself in
place, building up speed, until she unleashes her body in a full-on
tackle. The attack sends her flying at a very high velocity, KOing most
with mid-to-high damage. However, she has no control in the air, and
can only turn five times on the ground, losing speed each time. Thus,
she often finds herself going kamikaze style with this one.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Sing
- A lot more accurate than it is in Pokemon. Jigglypuff
opts out of a triple jump for her singing powers, lulling opponents to
sleep within a certain radius of her body. Sadly, they wake up fairly
quickly, before her song is done sometimes. So, to get full-effective,
the Puffster often has to Sing as she's coming down onto her opponents,
or Sing while she's in a crowd. More defensive than offensive.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Pound
- A powerful punching attack the moves Jigglypuff
forwards on the ground and the air. It sends her opponents flying over
her head backwards, and does decent damage. But what it's really good
for is helping her to "dance on air." She DOES have the best air-speed
of all the characters, afterall...
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Rest
- No, this does not restore health. Jigglypuff falls
asleep.
And... that's about it. If she falls asleep so that the center of her
body rests on another person, however... something special happens.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Puff Up
- Jigglypuff puffs herself up to be even larger than Giga
Bowser or Beast Ganon! She pushes people off the stage with her
enormous size... and then she uses Rest causing anyone touching her now
massive center of gravity to be KOed!
