Fighter Summary:
Kirby could be considered Nintendo's secondary platforming mascot, right after Mario, if it weren't for all those Mario Bros. spinoffs. Regardless, Kirby stands as a hero all on his own, all eight-inches of him. An inexperienced Star Warrior*, Kirby happened to fall upon the planet Popstar in the country of Dream Land, where the citizens were terrorized by the greedy King Dedede. After King Dedede stole all their food and gave it to his buddies, it was up to none other than Kirby to test his own abilities and save the goods from the Penguin King. After the heroic rescue of all the food, Kirby was hailed a hero, and made an honorary citizen of Dream Land.
Since, Kirby has protected Dream Land, and the planet Popstar, from assorted disaster and vicious assailants. Over time, Kirby even learned he could mimic the abilities of opponents by consuming them. He also learned he had the ability to wield the Star Rod, a powerful relic from the Fountain of Dreams that was used to destroy the Nightmare**. In later battles, the Star Rod was replaced by the Rainbow Sword and the Heart Rod to defeat the Dark Matter, twice, and then the Star Chariot, which obliterated both Nova and the maniacal Marx.
Due to his overwhelming popularity with the Dreamlanders, Kirby has gathered many friends over the years. Amongst them is the ever mysterious Meta Knight, an experienced Star Warrior who comes and goes to guide Kirby to his final destiny as the greatest Warrior in the galaxy. Of course, that won't be happening just yet, while Kirby's still got so many different things to eat and powers to learn, will it?
So, we wish Kirby much success here at the Stadium, as he is a Star Warrior in-training, and a fan favorite. He's got quite the reputation to upkeep. But with his cute appearance, voracious appetite, a winning personality, and amazing adaptability, Kirby really is a star, and a shining one at that! (Flip Troopa )

*This is, of course, all based on the anime. However, judging by the latest forays into Kirby coming from the Big N and HAL, it appears they've welcomed the anime with arms wide open, and have included it in the games' canon. In other words: 'sall good!

STANDARD SPECIAL Moves

Inhale

It has a new name, but it's still the same old move. Kirby's signature power to copy his opponent's abilities comes in handy during battles at the SSS! Kirby opens wide and inhales his opponent like a vacuum, then steals their powers, which replaces this move. He also gets a cute hat too! :)
UP SPECIAL Moves

Final Cutter

Kirby borrowed this move from Super Star, a finishing move custom to his Cutter ability. Kirby pulls out a cutter blade, and does a high jump into the air before spinning and crashing down. The impact of the blade with the ground also creates an energy wave that can trip opponents.
SIDE SPECIAL Moves

Hammer

Bonkers is going to be ticked. Kirby borrowed this move from his Hammer ability to bring to the Stadium, and doesn’t seem to be giving it up! Seemingly out of nowhere, the “pink wonder” will pull out a hammer with his star insignia and give a big swing, knocking opponents for a loop.
DOWN SPECIAL Moves

Stone

Another move taken from one of Kirby's abilities, this one is the dreaded Stone Drop. Kirby slips into something more rock-solid, and crushes his opponents with a drop from the skies!
FINAL SMASH Moves

Cook Kirby

Yet another of his absorbed abilities, this time from Chef Kawasaki! Kirby puts on a cute little chef's hat and pulls out a big pot, and rings a frying pan. Then both items and opponents are sucked into the pot and COOKED ALIVE! Not so cute now, is he? This gives major damage to his opponents, but new items are formed for anyone to grab!
