Summary:
Meta Knight is the
mysterious warrior and protector of Popstar. Meta
Knight first appeared as one of King
Dedede's underlings, being the
boss of Orange Ocean. Even as an underling,
though, Meta
Knight proved himself to be unique: not only did this
mysterious knight have his own band of minions, Meta
Knight had a sword
placed in the middle of the battlefield and waited for Kirby to pick it
up before the duel began. After defeating Meta
Knight, Kirby
discovered
that behind Meta
Knight's mask was a purple version of himself.
Startled, Meta
Knight vanished instantly. Years later, Meta
Knight launched a surprise attack on Dream Land from his
battleship, the
Halberd. Kirby attacked
the ship, being blown off more than once and
returning to the ship by Warp Star and Dyna Blade. After damaging the
ship, Meta
Knight fought Kirby
twice: once, in a duel
like their first encounter; and again as a last-ditch attempt in the
last seconds before the Halberd crashed into the Secret Sea. Meta
Knight went missing for a while, but suddenly attacked
Kirby,
splitting him into four entities. After journeying through the Mirror
World, Kirby discovered that this Meta
Knight was merely a
doppleganger, and the real Meta Knight
had journeyed into the Mirror
World to prevent Dark Mind from taking over both worlds. Taking Meta Knight's sword, Kirby
destroyed Dark Mind with
the help of his three friends. On another adventure, Kirby was
surprised when Meta Knight stole what Kirby thought was his piece of
cake (hidden in a treasure chest). Kirby later learned that this chest
contained Dark Nebula, a variation of Dark Matter. Raising the Halberd
from the Secret Sea, Meta Knight and Kirby managed to chase Dark Nebula
into deep space, where Kirby destroyed it for once and for all. Since
then, Meta Knight has been patrolling Dream Land in the Halberd with
his band of Meta-Knights, keeping the peace and protecting the simple
Dream Landers from the forces of pure evil. (Written by Light

Meta Knight's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Mach Tornado
- Much like Kirby's Tornado Ability, Meta Knight spins in
a large controllable tornado to decimate his opponents.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Shuttle Loop
- Meta Knight jumps up into the air with his sword
extended and then loops around so he can glide forward.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Drill Rush
- Meta Knight leaps sideways with his sword outstretched,
and if he hits an opponent, Meta Knight will perform a devastating
combo to them.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Dimensional Cape
- By wrapping himself inside his cape, Meta Knight can
actually
teleport behind an opponent and then slash them for damage. It's a
cheap shot for an honorable warrior!
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Galaxia Darkness
- Meta Knight swings his cape out directly in front of
him, and if he hits a character with the whirling cloth, the screen
grows dark and a
single slash appears near Meta Knight. This causes massive damage and
knockback to the one hit with the cloth, and even damage to all the
other opponents as well.
