Summary:
When Patrick V
first came to the Stadium, he was about nine years old, but already he
possessed a strange proficiency in Pixel Art, though primitive at the
time. VGW, the
commentator for SSS at the time, recognized this,
and
implored Powers, president at the time, to hire the boy. Powers had no
objections, and Pat was
accepted into the SSS family.
For much of his early days at SSS, Pat
did pictures for the
Post-match sections of the SSS Matches. However, When Lugia (later
known as Zeratul) eased
his
way into the ranks, he took over many of Pat's
jobs, including the art.
Pat didn't react
quietly about this, but was subsequently ignored, and
spent the rest of his career providing ideas and moral support, as well
as odd jobs, writing matches and HTML-izing when he could.
When the All-Fighter Free-for-all (the lost match in which Tai became
president) rolled around, Pat
was very happy to take part. And he did
well, outlasting all the other fighters, until it was down to he and
Tai. However, in the end he was bested, and he walked out of the match,
satisfied.
When a Saiyan named Rex invaded the Message Board, Pat
challenged him to a one-on-one fight to the death. Rex, filled with his
Saiyan pride and able to go Super Saiyan, quickly accepted. However,
the fight did not bode well
for the young warrior--he lost some limbs mid-fight, and his power was
torn out of him. In a desperate final attack, Pat
resorted to his
Self-Destruct, which knocked out the charging Rex. But Pat wasn't done for yet--before Pat died from his injuries, he
used
the Spirit Possessor, and took over
Rex's body. Rex, in turn, went to Pat's
body and subsequently died.
Adapting well to his new Saiyan powers, Pat
was inadvertently
prepared for what would come next: Tai's betrayal. When he revealed his
true nature as the son/clone of Powers, He tried to escape into Space
as his satellites destroyed Smashtopia. Though Pat
was unable to
stop the destruction, he followed Tai into space and, in a heated
sequel to his earlier fight, he took down Tai and fell back towards the
Earth.
Soon after, VGW left the
stadium to pursue other goals. Though he
left on good terms, what followed for SSS was a great deal of disorder
and disagreement, and Pat
was soon forced to resign his position. But
he always stayed with SSS, fighting for what he believed was best and
helping when he could.
When the fans of SSS revolted, calling all of the Superpowers back into
action, Pat was quickly
accepted back into his place. He is Fifteen
now, and works tirelessly, repairing all of the broken pictures and
links that came out resulting from the earlier disorder. When Zeratul,
VGW's replacement,
was finally given the boot after three years of
laziness and inactivity, Pat
was offered the Presidency of SSS.
However, in a move that amazed many of his oldest critics, Pat declined
the position for the time being, in lieu of his reformatting duties. In
Pat's stead, Game Guru
was chosen. Initially, like Zer,
GG
was lazy,
and like with Zer, Pat and
others
threatened to give GG the boot. Unlike Zer,
however, GG was willing
to
listen to
Pat, and all the
other SPs and strove to be a better Head SP than Zer.
Pat is off and on
nowadays, but he's still reliable in a pinch, having helped GG
coordinate the other SPs when Hyperion travelled back to Season 2. Pat
was unable to lend a more physical role due to a fear of a potential
temporal paradox should he have met his Season 2 counterpart. As soon
as Royku took over the
Stadium, Pat
rushed in as fast as he could to
help, though admittingly a little late. Pat
is probably one of the best
and most reliable SPs we've ever had.
