Ash's Pikachu
- Fighter's
Biostats
- Full Name:
- Pikachu
- Age:
- He's been around with Ash for a while in actual years,
but that only equates to around 7 years of (human) age for a Pikachu.
- Race/Species:
- LET ME SEE...
- Home/Nation:
- Wherever Ash Ketchum goes, he follows. Presumably he's
originally from the Viridian Forest, and was caught by Prof. Oak to
give out to beginning trainers at his Pallet Town laboratory.
- Friends/Allies:
- Ash, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Prof. Oak, Delia Ketchum,
Mr. Mime, Pichu Bros., and a massive slew of other Pokemon and trainers
the team has met on their journeys
- Enemies:
- Team Rocket (Jessie, James, Meowth, Wobbuffet), Team
Rocket (the rest of the organization; Butch and Cassidy), Team Magma,
Team Aqua, Mewtwo (for a while)
- Powers and Abilities:
- He's an Electric-type Pokemon, so he's got some pretty
fearsome thunder and lightning abilities about him. He's also very
agile, and a decent physical attacker for such a small creature.
Capable of being taught a variety of unnatural moves as well via TMs
and HMs, and if he's given a Light Ball to hold, step back: his Spec.
Attack doubles!
- Quoted as Saying:
- "Pi-Pikachu!"
- "Chu!"
- "Piiiiii-kaaaaa..."
- "Pi-kaa!"

Summary:
Pikachu, the mascot of Pokemon, has slightly more downs than ups. He's
an
electric mouse, number 25 in the old Pokedex to be exact. His attacks,
therefore, include, on top of the squeaking and biting associated with
rodents, powerful Thunderbolts and Shocks. This particular Pikachu
specifically belongs to Ash Ketchum, who was once a fighter here at the
Stadium. Pikachu has
become a strong Pokemon in his own right, even
knowing the powerful Volt Tackle, which is a hidden move in
Pokemon Emerald that only the Pikachu line gets! It's just an
Electric-type Double-Edge, but it's still pretty sweet. Definitely
worth the effort. Ash and his Pikachu
have decided to continue their Pokemon journey and are currently in
Sinnoh.
Pikachu's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Thunder Jolt
- Pikachu's standard Electric move, with a base power of
40 it is the weakest of the Electric-type moves. Still, Pikachu can use
it to hit enemies in those hard to reach spots around platforms and
above him; the attack sends out a little spark that clings to walls and
creates a current that crawls the side until it fizzles out. Let a few
of these lose near the edge, and Pika's opponent will be in trouble
trying to come back *nod*
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Quick Attack
- Normally a weak move, it's not too bad on a Pikachu
wearing a Choice Band with some stat boosters passed onto him. Sadly,
that's not the case with this particular Pikachu (dang!), and this
attack is the definition of weak. But, it gets the job done, sending
Pikachu off in a zigzag and rescuing his yellow hide from certain doom
over the edge of the arena.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Skull Bash
- Pikachu rears back
and charges up a ferocious flying headbutt that, if it connects, shocks
the opponent to a crisp and sends them head over heels into the air.
Takes a bit to charge, but it's worth the wait.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Thunder
- Bring down tha' Thunda'! Pikachu's cheapest, and most
popular attack, rains utter hell on the opponents. It can catch 'em in
the air, fry 'em when they're on the ground, and block their path to
safety when they're trying to make a comeback! Thunder is truly a godly
attack.
