Summary:
One of the greatest Pokemon Trainers of our time, Red
started his quest
to be the best in Pallet Town with a Charmander,
which eventually
evolved into the Charizard
he uses. He battled the various Gym Leaders
in Kanto, as well as the criminal organization, Team Rocket. It is said
that Red was able to even
beat Giovanni, their leader, three times. He
even was Elite Four Champion for a while, and was undefeated when he
gave the title to Lance. Red
also likes capturing Pokemon, owning among others a Poliwrath, a
Snorlax, a Gyarados, an Aerodactyl, an Espeon, a Scizor, a Tauros, a
Dragonite and even a talking Clefairy! He traded for both his Squirtle and Ivysaur, and uses the team of Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtle at the Stadium. If
anyone deserves the title "Pokemon Master," it's this Pokemon Trainer!
Red's Moves: - DOWN
SPECIAL
Moves
- Pokemon Change
- Red switches his Pokemon out between Squirtle, Ivysaur,
and Charizard, in that order. However, as all three are of a lower
level than our other Pokemon fighters, they will tire more easily in an
extended fight. Yes, even lower level than the worthless Pichu.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Triple Finish
- This move allows Red to summon his other two Pokemon to
the arena. Then Squirtle uses Hydro Pump, Ivysaur uses Solarbeam, and
Charizard uses Fire Blast in tandem. It's super effective to ANYONE!!!
Squirtle's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Water Gun
- The most well-known move of Squirtle's arsenal, it is
functionally similar to Mario's F.L.U.D.D in excution. Squirtle charges
it up and sprays mere water at his opponent. No real damage, but
awesome knockback and edge-guarding abilities!
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Waterfall
- Sort of like a watery uppercut, Squirtle rides the wave
this move makes upward, causing damage to his opponents, and helping
him to recover.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Withdraw
- With this move, Squirtle retracts into his shell, and
sends it flying forward with a jet of water to damage opponents.
Ivysaur's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Bullet Seed
- With this move, Ivysaur fires seeds straight up to
damage any airborn opponents hard. It's like an anti-air machine gun!
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Vine Whip
- Similar to Zero Suit Samus' Plasma Wire, Ivysaur uses
his vines to grab onto a ledge and recover from being sent out of the
arena! On the ground, Ivysaur whips his opponents.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Razor Leaf
- The move that Ivysaur is best known for, Ivysaur sends
out a giant razor-sharp leaf forward, damaging whoever gets hit with it.
Charizard's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Flamethrower
- The most well-known move of Charizard's arsenal, it is
functionally similar to Bowser's Fire Breath in execution. Charizard
breathes out aimable fire with this move, exactly like the Charizard we
had in a Pokeball!
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Fly
- Charizard flies up surrounded by flames and damaging
any opponent within range. This move can easily be trasitioned into a
glide.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Rock Smash
- Charizard pulls out a rock and headbutts it, sending
pieces of the rock and his opponents flying!
