- Samus Aran
- Age:

Chronologically speaking, this makes no sense at all... :p)
- Race/Species:
- Human, infused with Chozo Blood after being injured as
a child

moved to the planet Zebes until being released back into human

the Etecoons, the Dachola mother and child, Adam, the Metroid hatchling

numerous upgrades, including missiles, grappling beams, and even an
infinite jumping attack!
- Quoted as Saying:
- "..."
- "Prepare to kiss the stars, pirate scum!"
- "I alone was chosen to save them..."
- "We are all bound by our experiences. They are the
limits of our conciousness. But in the end, the human soul will ever
reach for the truth..."

Heard of at the SSS:
Match number 12, the "Battle of the Sexes," was Samus'
first match. (Poor Sammy... typecasted as
the "kick ass and take names" chick again -_-;; ......Don't worry
Samus, I still think you're a sweet and gentle woman under that Power
Suit. You're beautiful) :D

Summary:
A famous Bounty Hunter from the not-so-distant future, Samus Aran has
quite a history. NO, not that kind of history, sicko. She was the sole
hero of the Metroid fiasco! Born on a space
station outside our solar system, Samus
aspired to be a gymnast. She
trained day and night, and soon enough she had unmatched abilities. Her
aerial acrobatics and amazing grace brought her much fame in her home
station. However, that all changed when her father was murdered in cold
blood and her space station was destroyed with Samus landing in an
escape pod on the planet of the Chozo People, a race of bird-like
beings. Samus, then
only a 10 year old girl, decided
to seek vengeance in any form. The Space Pirates were the culprits,
and, led by the hideous Mother Brain, they seeked out any and all that
could help them to control the galaxy.
Being an orphan, she was raised up as
one of the Chozo people and given a powerfully built suit of space-age
armor. Samus, now 17,
soon learned of the Space Pirates' plans, and was
paying attention to a bounty that had been placed on their
heads. She decided to take it up, and with her newfound abilities in
this
suit, Samus followed
the Pirates throughout the galaxy, trying to get
the vengeance she so seeks. She has, in the past, destroyed the
Pirates-twice! The skeletal dragon, Ridley; the biological gargantuan,
Kraid; the secret master of all of them, the Mother Brain- all slain by
Samus. Samus also
stopped the parasitic race, the Metroids, from
destroying civilization as it stands today! So, all in all, Samus
really is one kick-ass Bounty Hunter, wouldn't you say? Stadium wise, Samus Aran
is one of the most powerful fighters in the stadium, thanks
to her armor. She has more moves than we currently know, and the
Stadium's Research and Development Team are currently trying to find
other possible moves for Samus
to use in the future to improve her
chances of winning.
Since she has two arenas on Planet Zebes (Brinstar and Norfair), Samus
decided to make one on the Metroid
homeworld, SR-388, as well as one on the Frigate Orhpeon from her
fights against Metroid Prime.
Samus' Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Charge Shot
- Samus' signature upgrade for her arm cannon. This puppy
charges up her shots to their fullest potential, and releases them in
one nasty blast. She can roll while charging to avoid being hit, and if
she fires in midair, she'll unleash the charged shot, whether it's
finished or not. When it's fully charged, she can store it for later
use, unless, of course, somebody hits her pretty good and she loses it.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Screw Attack
- The upgrade through which Samus learns this attack is
now a regular item, but only she can wield it permanently. Samus leaps
into the air in a forward roll, bursting with energy. In the Metroid
games, this caused aliens to explode on contact. In Smash Bros., it's a
combo move that racks up damage on the opponent. Too bad for Samus, but
good for the other fighters :p
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Missile
- Samus fires her signature missiles (where does she keep
those things?). A light tap will send out missiles that move slowly and
home in slightly. A harder tap will send out fast flying missiles that
pack a much nicer punch. Contrary to popular belief, these are not
Samus' Super Missiles; these are regular old military-grade missiles.
The homing variety's actually the strange lot.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Bomb
- Another staple, Samus rolls into Morph Ball mode and
drops one of her bombs. Though they aren't powerful, she can drop many
at a time, and, if she's standing on one while it bursts, she can get a
small boost into the air (Bomb Jump!). This is great for starting
low-hitting air combos, or just generally avoiding conflict.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Zero Laser
- This is the most powerful Final Smash in SSS. Samus
fires a large energy beam of DEATH that literally overloads her Power
Suit and hopefully her opponents beyond in-match repair unless she uses
another Smash Ball. Although the pieces of the damaged suit remain in
the
arena, her Power Suit can't be used anymore. Samus has to fight without
it on, thus becoming...
Zero Suit Samus
Zero Suit Samus' Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- Paralyzer
- Wow! Just in bailey, indeed! Samus fires a stunning
shot at her opponents, which can be charged up. If charged, it will
stun the opponents long enough for Samus to get in a lot of attacks.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Plasma Wire
- Yes. Yes, Samus is a woman with an energy whip. Samus
swings her energy whip up into the air to grab
opponents above her with the tip of it. She can also use this to
recover vertically.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Plasma Whip
- Samus
uses her energy whip to strike opponents with the powerful tip to send
them flying. She can also use this to recover horizantally.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Flip Jump
- Samus does a flip and an arching jump through the air.
This provides some horizontal and vertical recovery, and could even be
better than her moves with the whip in doing so! Odd, since it's her
Down Special Move.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Power Suit Samus
- Also known as the Crystal Flash, Samus radiates energy
drawing in both item and opponent, and causing damage to nearby
opponents. However, the most notable thing about this Final Smash is
that it returns the Power Suit to Samus in fully functioning order.
