Summary:
Zelda is the
typical Princess kidnapped by the evil guy, which, in the
Legend of Zelda series, corresponds to Ganondorf.
The Princess
and heiress to the throne of the Kingdom of Hyrule, Princess Zelda is
secretly also the Sage of Time. Head of the Seven Sages, descendants of
the Wise Men of Hyrule, she assists the Hero of Time on numerous
occassions. Some people claim there are actually half a dozen different
Zeldas across two
timelines
in the series, one from before OoT, and the rest falling in order in
correspondance with the 5 or so Links.
Whatever the case may be, Zelda
has
magical powers, as well as telepathy, both of which she uses many times
to assist Link in his
adventures. She has also been threatened by the
dark warlock, Ganondorf,
on numerous occasions, resulting in the
creation of her magical, alter-ego, Sheik.
In actuality, Sheik may
look
like a teenage boy, but he is really a she, being Zelda wearing
bandages, a head covering, a Sheikah-style warrior outfit, and magic
that changes her skin and eye color. This cross-dressing mystery can be
understood better when Sheik
is KO'd, as the scream she makes is
obviously female. Zelda
has come to the Stadium for reasons similar to Peach's
, but Zelda has
something else in mind... She wants to show that
pesky Malon who's boss, and prove to Link
that she can be a mighty
opponent, should the need arise.
Zelda's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL Moves
- Nayru's Love
- It's a reflection attack. She shrouds herself in a big,
pink crystal, then spins it around. It will blow up, sending little
shards to orbit around her body. This happens very quickly, and does
minimal damage, so it's not too useful in doing anything except
well-timed projectile deflections.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Farore's Wind
- This is basically a Teleport. She spins around, doing
minimal damage, then disappears. She reappears an insane distance from
where she originally started, vulnerable to attack.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Din's Fire
- She will flash her hand and create a small fire orb.
She will chuck it and watch it fly as a spark, controlling it slightly
with her magic. It flies fairly fast, and straightforward, so it can
only be angled up and down slightly. When she feels like it, she can
let go of her grip, and the fire orb will explode where ever it is
located.

Sheik
Sheik's Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL Moves
- Needle Storm
- She starts charging up needles in her fingers. In all,
6 can be held. In the air, they can be thrown diagonally in
a horizontal row, ala Akuma's Fireball in Street Fighter. On the
ground, they fly straight forward in a vertical row.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Vanish
- She does a little flip into the air, then flashes and
disappears in a small explosion of smoke. She then reappears and short
distance above, and falls softly to the ground. This does considerably
more damage than Farore's Wind.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Chain
- She whips out a chain from her wrist, which she can
wriggle and whip around. It will smack and shock opponents, and is good
for hitting things below the platform or out of reach by normal means.
It can also be used to destroy projectiles before they hit.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Transform
- Sheik transforms back into Zelda!
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Light Arrow
- As either Zelda or Sheik, she has the same Final Smash
in her Light Arrow. Unlike Link's or Pit's Arrows, this is a move where
she aims at the heart of an opponent, which causes them
massive damage and send them flying. Opponents fly upwards if hit by
Zelda's or backwards if hit by Sheik's!
