ones. Aside from this, she is a skilled pilot, easily filling in the
slot left by Peppy. Krystal also wields a staff with various abilities,
ranging from use as a melee weapon to blasts of energy. Krystal can
also speak in multiple languages, including that of the Planet Sauria.

Summary:
Krystal reigns from the distant planet of Cerinia as its sole survivor
before a cataclysm befell the planet. Wielding a semi-technological,
semi-magical staff, she seeks the answers for the death of her parents
as well as her planet. While looking for the truth, she discovers a
distress signal coming from the planet Sauria, one inhabited entirely
of dinosaurs (or similar ancient creatures). She hitches a ride on a
Cloudrunner (Pterosaur) and discovers General Scales, the ruler of the
almost-feral band of raptor-like SharpClaws, to be responsible for the
chaos. Shortly after meeting him, Krystal returns one of the six
guardian Krazoa Spirits to its shrine, only to be ambushed and trapped,
ironically, in a crystal. Meanwhile, Team Star Fox discovers the planet
in
its disarray and Fox McCloud
travels to the planet to save it and
prevent it from falling apart (both figuratively and literally-General
Scales ripped out the magical stones that held the planet together).
When he discovers Krystal, he immediately falls for her and vows to,
among his other tasks, save Krystal. Fox
eventually does release her
from her prison, save her from a several story fall, and return her
staff. Krystal, out of gratitude, decides to join Team Star Fox,
filling in the hole left by the aging Peppy Hare. Krystal aids Fox in
defeating the Aparoids (a race of robotic parasites), using her
piloting skills and telepathic powers. She and Fox
begin to develop a
serious relationship, but Fox,
concerned for her life, forces her out
of the team, leaving them both heartbroken. Krystal joins up with Star
Wolf for a while, attempting a relationship with womanizer Panther
Caruso, but she returns to Star Fox to help defeat the fish-like
Anglars and rekindles her relation with Fox.
It is unknown how Fox
and
Krystal's relationship is at this point in time, but one can only hope

SPECIAL
Moves
- Element Blaster
- The primary use of Krystal's staff: hurling balls of
fire and ice. With this move, Krystal can unleash a ball of either
element. While the fireballs are more powerful, the ice orbs can freeze
opponents.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Rocket Boost
- Krystal's staff comes with the power to launch itself
off of special launching pads, a power Fox used a lot. Although there
are no pads here, Krystal can still use the staff's power to boost up.
She can only ascend directly upward, and she cannot damage foes with
this technique, but she gains a mighty boost before her staff looses
power.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Krystal Charge
- Even with a background and history totally different
from the rest of the Star Fox and Star Wolf teams, she still is a part
of their universe and shares similar talents. Krystal suddenly launches
forwards at a high speed, similar albeit slower to the Fox Illusion and
the Falco Phantasm. However, should she connect with an opponent, she
will vault off of them with her staff, giving her even more distance as
well as meteor-smashing the foe.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Ground Quake
- Krystal lifts the staff and slams it into the ground,
sending powerful shock waves slightly above the ground all around her.
As the shock waves travel outwards, they gradually become weaker and
have less knockback.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Cloudrunner Strike
- Thankfully, not a Landmaster. Krystal hops on a passing
Cloudrunner and flies offstage. From there, she can direct huge blasts
of energy-not unlike that of an Arwing or Landmaster-at the smashers
onstage. Although she has a very brief period on the Cloudrunner, she
can easily rack up a lot of damage, considering she has no limitation
of ammo.
