- Powers and Abilities:
- Ninten, much like Ness, fights primarily using a mix of
his PSI abilities and his trusty signed baseball bat. However, Ninten
is also a bit different than Ness. Since Ninten is a bit more
experienced, and had to endure tougher foes, Ninten is significantly
stronger and faster. However, his moves tend to have very little range,
and he is a very fast faller.

Summary:
Ninten was an ordinary boy in the ordinary town of Podunk. His
great-grandparents, George and Maria, were abducted by a race of
aliens, the Starmen, in the early 1900s. The aliens treated them
kindly, and the couple raised one of the Starmen, Giygas, from
a youth. However, George discovered the aliens PSI abilities and
escaped, bringing the knowledge to the Earth. Enraged, the Starmen
built their army and instructed Giygas to command their legion. Ninten
was drafted into the journey by Queen Mary, the ruler of Magicant. At
the end of his journey, Ninten learned that Queen Mary was, in fact,
his great-grandmother Maria and that Magicant was a realm created by
her dim consciousness. Ninten and his friends, Ana and Loid, eventually
confronted Giygas and defeated him by singing the lullaby Maria sang to
the alien as a baby. Although he is a long forgotten hero, Ninten is
still a powerful fighter, and has endured his share of hardships. (Written

Ninten's
Moves: - STANDARD
SPECIAL
Moves
- PK Beam
- Focusing his mental energy, Ninten puts his hands
together and conjures a powerful ray of psychic energy. He then
releases it in a single blast, zipping across the stage swiftly. This
is basically a cross between R.O.B.'s Robo Laser and Samus's Charge
Shot: it fires a quick beam across the stage, but it's grow wider the
longer the move is charged.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- PK Thunder
- Just like Ness and Lucas: a bolt of electricity is
produced and can be directed to strike an enemy or, as a recovery move,
Ninten himself. This version of PK Thunder is extremely quick and
powerful, but incredibly difficult to control.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- PSI Brainshock
- In its original form, PSI Brainshock would make an
enemy start “feeling strange” and attack themselves. Here, it functions
as a bit of a cross between PK Fire and Din's Fire: It can be loosely
be directed in its travel path, but it will activate upon contact and
only upon contact with another smasher. When it does activate, the
globule of psychic energy explodes, stunning whoever it catches. If it
touches nobody, it will simply fizzle into non-existence.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- PSI Shield
- During the adventures of Ninten, the art of PK was
still only loosely understood, so the techniques developed were very
basic. As such, PSI Magnet, as utilized in the adventures of Ness and
Lucas, had yet to be developed. Instead, Ninten uses PSI Shield, which
will give him the benefits of increased defense. On occasion, Ninten's
psychic shield will succeed in Power Shielding an attack, which will
deflect the damage back to the user of the attack was physical or
deflect the missile if the attack was ranged.
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- PK Starstorm
- Like Ness and Lucas, Ninten summons a shower of
meteorites to plow through his opponents. It's closer to Lucas' in that
the meteorites fly straight down. However, the stars are twice as large
in Ninten's attack, making the technique a whole lot more effective.
The ability was impossible to learn in the original MOTHER game, so
perhaps Ninten discovered it in a lost page of his great-grandfather's
diary.
