- Tails is extremely intelligent and has excellent
mechanical skills, able to construct huge, complicated inventions.
Tails also has the ability to fly, using his two Tails as propellers.
Tails is also pretty fast; though he's nowhere near as fast as Sonic,
he's still very fast. Unlike Sonic, however, Tails can swim, and pretty
well, at that.

Summary:
Miles "Tails" Prower is a young fox, a brilliant mechanic, and an
excellent thinker. Tails is usually seen following Sonic the Hedgehog
around or building something in his workshop. Sometime after Sonic had
first beaten Dr. Eggman, Sonic crashed-landed his biplane, the Tornado,
onto Westside Island. While there, Tails discovered Sonic and impressed
him by being the first person to actually be able to keep up. Sonic
decided to let Tails follow him around, and Tails managed to fix up the
Tornado. Shortly thereafter, Eggman attacked the island, and Sonic and
Tails managed to defeat him together, boarding his Death Egg and
sending it hurling to the ground. Sonic
and Tails flew off in the
distance, landing on Angel Island, where the duo was attacked by
Knuckles the Echidna, who stole all of their Chaos Emeralds. Tails
helped Sonic recover the
emeralds and defeat Eggman, who was behind the
whole thing once again. Tails later helped Sonic
recover the Chaos
Emeralds several times later, once from the water being Chaos and again
to prevent Eggman from using the Eclipse Cannon of Space Colony ARK.
Both times, Tails ended up having to stand up for himself and take down
Eggman unaided. Since then Tails has mostly hung out with Sonic,
helping him in almost all of his battles against evil forces. Even
though Tails usually fights alongside Sonic,
he has grown up through
the years and can stand up for himself.

SPECIAL
Moves
- Dummy Rings
- Tails reaches back and tosses ahead a collection of 3
to 5 rings, which explode upon contact with any other smasher. The
rings don't deal a lot of damage, but they stun the victim, leaving
them wide open for attack. If Tails is in the air, he drops the rings
straight downwards.
- UP SPECIAL Moves
- Fly
- By twirling his tails at a fast enough rate, Tails can
make himself fly through the air. Visually, this is no different than
his five midair jumps, except the midair jumps give him slight vertical
boosts, while this move gives him total control of where he flies.
After a few seconds, Tails tires out and is forced to descend.
- SIDE SPECIAL Moves
- Rapid Tails Attack
- Leaning downwards and forwards a bit, Tails lifts his
tails above his head and pirouettes, hitting any nearby foes with his
tails. This functions a bit like the Mario Tornado and the Luigi
Cyclone, although the move is no good as a recovery move. Also, Tails
can move left or right as he uses this move.
- DOWN SPECIAL Moves
- Charged Spin Dash
- Just like Sonic's Down Special: Tails curls up into a
ball, revs up, and flies forward. Oddly enough, Tails' tails can be
seen at all times, even though they should, theoretically, spin around
with Tails..
- FINAL SMASH Moves
- Super Tails
- Tails jumps into the air and performs a flip as the
seven Chaos Emeralds surround him make him super, all while exclaiming,
"I can do this!" Super Tails is not too unlike Super Sonic and Hyper
Knuckles, although Super Tails is significantly weaker than Super
Sonic, and Tails stays in his super form much longer than Sonic. Super
Tails is also surrounded by four golden Flickies, which will home in on
an opponent and constantly strike them, even if Tails is preoccupied
with another foe.
