Digi: Folks, we've got a couple of storylines to go along with this latest Super Smash Stadium match. Some of you remember the pounding Ness took against Fox in the season opener. Of course, he came back and won a huge match versus Mewtwo. Now, also this season, he was supposed to fight with Falco against Fox and Donkey Kong...instead, Paula fought with Falco. You folks understanding where I'm going so far?

Audience: *murmurs of approval*

Digi: Okay. So Ness is mad at Paula and has decided to make this a three-team match, albeit 2-on-1-on-1 isn't the greatest example of a team match. Today, it will work, and to join me in the booth today is an old friend of ours, actually. Old enough to have come and left this place before I joined up, at least; he's done a bunch of various things here at the Stadium and now he's coming into the booth for a bit of commentary. Please welcome Lakitu!

*Lakitu floats into the booth, hops off his cloud and walks up to Digi*

Digi: Don't toss any Spinies in here, okay?

Lakitu: No problem...besides, you never see me or my buddies do it whenever the Mario Kart season goes on, right? Or the golf courses...or the baseball fields...

Digi: You've got a point.

Lakitu: Alright. Now, the rules of this match are a 2 life fight for each combatant. All items except Hearts and Maxim Tomatoes will be fair game, and Party Balls will be the only containers in the fight. I believe one of the Star Fox guys won the toss, so the arena shall be Corneria. Watch out for those Arwings, folks!

Digi: Okay, this sounds like a plan. For those of you who are watching this fight, either here at the Stadium or on television, I'm Digi, this is Lakitu, and we've got a fight!

Lakitu: Right-o. *drops a Green Shell into the arena* Okay, Ness continues his brutality towards Lombardi as he pops an Around the World to the beak! Paula goes for that Party Ball you threw in.

Digi: Okay, Falco starts at the top of the ship, Paula's out on the nose, Ness is on the bottom, stage left, and Fox is in between Falco and Paula. Team Starbound sees their position and immediately gangs up on Fox!

Lakitu: Dang, Falco wants to beat up on Fox this soon? Well, a Phantasm and a couple of quick blasts of PK Ice from Paula have juggled up Fox already. Ness joins the fray, aiming a PK Thunder at himself, blasting Falco for a direct hit!

Digi: Fox pulls out his blaster and goes for the first target he sees, and that's Paula. The first shot hits, Paula dodges the second, but she's not as lucky the third time around.

Lakitu: Meanwhile, Ness continues to beat up on Falco. He gets in a quick PK Fire but Falco retaliates with a downward toss into the ground--and he follows it up by giving the psychic boy a taste of the Reflector!

Digi: It looks like he wants to take care of Falco first because he's got nothing against him. Let's toss in some items. *heaves in a Party Ball*

Lakitu: Right-o. *drops a Green Shell into the arena* Okay, Ness continues his brutality towards Lombardi as he pops an Around the World to the beak! Paula goes for that Party Ball you threw in.

Digi: The Party Ball opens up and I see a Parasol, a Beam Sword, a Motion Sensor Bomb and a Mr. Saturn. Paula goes for the Beam Sword but is interrupted by Ness who grabs her and flings her up.

Lakitu: Fox grabs the shell and immediately heaves it right at Ness' direction. He gets bonked in the head, but with the mess involving Paula, Fox doesn't see the shell coming and he gets hit as well.

Digi: And in all of this chaos, it's Falco who gets the Beam Sword and continues to slash at Ness! Paula, meanwhile, is slammed with a Fire Fox. Fox picks up the Motion Sensor Bomb and jumps away from all of this, onto the lower deck. He sets it down there and here come the Arwings!

Lakitu: Fox jumps back onto the main platform just in time to see Falco get flung back by a throw by Ness. The Arwing shoots and scores on the bird!

Digi: Ness taunts but here comes Fox. He fires his Blaster again but Ness pulls up his PSI Magnet in time to get some healing from it.

Lakitu: Right before the Mr. Saturn falls off the edge, it pushes the Parasol off the nose and is grabbed by Falco. He tosses it back towards the center of the stage. Fox, meanwhile, is hit by a PSI Rockin'!

Digi: Earthbounders doing well, but they're not in the same entity this time! *turns to see Lakitu missing* Lakitu, what are you...*peers into the arena* Oh great...

(Lakitu is seen floating into the arena on his cloud, tossing a Pokeball in around the center)

Lakitu: I've got it covered!

Digi: *sighs* Anyway, there's the Pokeball and nobody goes for it yet. Fox pulls an Illusion on Paula and follows it up with a mighty smash! She's sent towards the edge stage right but is not close enough to be of any danger.

(Lakitu goes back in the booth, leaving the cloud off to the side as he walks back next to Digi)

Lakitu: I wanted some fresh air, and Ness wants to take Falco down again! He swings the bat and Falco is gone! First kill goes to Ness, who continues his good run by giving Fox a little telekinetic shock. And now he goes for the Pokeball!

Digi: Ness grabs it and tosses it down, we have a swarm of Unown entering the premises as Falco pops back onto the stage. Paula and Fox get tossed around as Falco shoots a couple of Blaster shots on Ness.

Lakitu: And Falco goes back to Fox after the pack leaves the arena. Fox grabs him and he's running with him...all the way to the tip of the wing, and he heaves him down right near that MSB! Falco takes the explosion and he can't get any breaks!

Digi: Fox taunts and Paula gets Ness with a Thunder Omega. Everyone sans Falco is in danger of losing their first life right now.

Lakitu: I got the next Party Ball. *tosses one in between stage mid-right* Falco hops back up to the top and Fire Birds Fox while he's at it. Fox is flying up and he's in danger of losing his first life via the stratosphere. Digi: Not yet, though. Ness runs for the Party Ball, and here comes the buffet table! They smell the food and everyone is healed for about 8-15% apiece.

Lakitu: Fox smashes Paula again and she is sent right into Ness's arms. He doesn't want to throw her, but he does...right back to Fox!

Digi: Paula gets to her senses and punches Fox a couple of times while Falco grabs Ness, knees him twice, and shoots him up into the air with his gun!

Lakitu: Falco's hit by a Ness-less PK Thunder and Fox is sent skyward by Paula with another of those upward throws! Again, he survives. Now, Falco returns the favor on Ness with a Phantasm, knocking him for a loop. Paula wants Fox out of it now!

Digi: She winds up for the smash, charges it a bit, and Fox is one life down! *tosses in a Bunny Hood on the lower deck* Come and get it, fighters!

Lakitu: Nobody's getting it yet, but Falco pulls another Reflector on Ness, which is understandable considering what Ness has done to him today. Fox is back and he also goes to Ness, prepping that Fire Fox, and that's a burning sensation that'll last all the way to halfway between the edge of the arena and the boundary line!

Digi: Ness gets in his second jump and just PK Thunders his way back on! Paula grabs Fox and tosses him down but she is sent skyward and she's lost her first life as well!

Lakitu: Close match, so you do expect a quick series of knockouts like this. Hmm...Bunny Hood's fading, I should throw something in. Ah, here we go. *tosses a Bob-Omb*

Digi: I love those things.

Digi: Falco goes for that Bob-Omb Lakitu tossed in and decides to blow Fox up with it; that's good for a huge hit. Ness comes back to the center to the center of the arena and continues ganging up on Fox, he uses a PK Fire on McCloud.

Lakitu: Ness is pretty vulnerable right now after those flames die out. Fox comes back to take on Ness and he smashes the kid out of there! We're all down to one life for all...and here's another Party Ball. *tosses it in*

Digi: That Party Ball lands near Paula, who picks it up and tosses it aside...oh, you hid a Goomba in there! Ohhh, that's sneaky!

Lakitu: I thought they'd find that one interesting. Falco stomps on top of the Goomba to get it out of there, and Paula uses a PK Ice on her fellow Eaglelander to freeze him up a bit.

Digi: Dang, should I throw in a Hammer or not?

Lakitu: Too risky with this close of a match.

Digi: Alright. Paula continues to deal damage, this time by hitting up Fox with a running kick, followed by a smash that'll dig Fox into the ground--well, not really, but you get the point.

Lakitu: Fox is in trouble compared to the rest of the fighters. Falco puts in some quick kicks on Ness and waits to see what Paula will do next.

Digi: And the girl wants to finish Fox off! A PSI Rockin' will put Fox in a very dangerous position as he is sent flying, but he hangs on to live again!

Lakitu: Ness charges up a PK Flash and aims it right at Falco at 2/3 strength! Oh, look at those shiny, green sparks!

Lakitu: Fox does some quick footwork to keep Paula at bay, and slams into her with a flip kick! Finally, someone has damaged her since she lost her first life! That's not all! He flicks her away with the Reflector on the way down!

Digi: *tosses in a Freezie* Falco goes for a grab on Ness, but he shields the blow and counters with some a quick Walk the Dog. Falco jumps up and delivers a huge kick from above. Ness is probably very fortunate that Falco wears shoes...

Lakitu: Good observation. Fox grabs the Freezie and threatens Paula with it, but she jumps out of the way in time. Ness runs back to Fox and winds up that baseball bat! Fox is sent out of the stage, this time out of the match, and both times by Earthbound smashes!

Digi: And in knocking Fox out, this is, ironically, the one thing Ness did not want. He returns to the center of the arena and launches a PK Fire at Paula! She tries a PK Ice to prevent the flames from hitting, but both bypass each other. Ness and Paula are both hit with each other's moves.

Lakitu: And Falco leaps again and used the Fire Bird back down to the ship and gets in another huge hit on Ness! The Arwings are back as well...Ness gets back up and grabs Falco.

Digi: He knees him twice and sends him up into the air, and the Arwings get him again! Okay, this'll possibly the last item in the match. Use it wisely! *flings in a Metal Box*

Lakitu: Paula does a bit of a slide job at Ness and kicks him as she skids along. But Ness runs over and gets that Metal Box.

Digi: Ness jumps twice and here's a big blow on Paula! He gives her a nice little dropkick. That's good enough to give Ness the lead back.

Lakitu: Falco continues to go about his I-drop-like-a-lead-weight ways and sweeps Ness on the ground, but he's not going far with that metal.

Digi: Ness comes back and launches another Around the World...Falco's slightly juggled up into the air. Ness leaps and pounds Falco out of the match with a huge headbutt with a few seconds to spare on that Metal Box!

Lakitu: It's going to come down to Ness and Paula, and Ness is now back to normal. Paula comes in with a PSI Rockin' which will take Ness to a very nervous damage. One good hit and Paula may win.

Digi: I'm not sure about that, because Ness has leaped into the air and has set up his PK Thunder to crash back down to the ship right at where Paula is! She is zapped righteously!

Lakitu: Ness goes for the grab and tosses her upwards, and she is out of there! Ness has exacted all of his revenge!

Digi: That's the fight!

THIS GAME'S WINNER IS NESS (GREEN TEAM)!

Digi: *looking back at the fight* You're right...Ness did exact all of his revenge in landing finishing blows to all three of his opponents. Navi has caught up to both of our Eagleland residents.

Navi: Okay, Ness and Paula, it was basicially what Paula did in helping Falco out that started this fight, but is everything alright between you two now?

Paula: I suppose so. It was only fitting that my friend, of all people, would finish my fight.

Ness: I'm sorry Paula. It was my fault for overreacting to all of this. Just, if you ever want to take my place in one of these fights again if you want to, let me know in advance, alright?

Paula: Well, you were in a coma after Fox took you down the first time. But I promise I won't do that to you again without consent.

Ness: Alright, I forgive you.

Navi: Well, Ness, what does this match in all say about how you've been since your first fight with Fox this season?

Ness: That mattered more than having the interest of fighting Paula. I mean, what she did was one thing, but I just wanted to take Fox down, and that's what happened.

Navi: Okay, that sounds like some good words from Ness and Paula. Back to you, guys.

Digi: Alright, Lakitu has left the booth and he's with Fox and Falco.

Lakitu: Okay, thank you, Digi. Fox? Falco? What can you say about this match?

Falco: Next time, we're teammates. Two team matches where I have to fight against him is just getting annoying, alright? I understand what Ness wanted and that's perfectly understandable, but it's so much easier for me to fight when Fox is an enemy in a free-for-all.

Fox: Well, Ness got what he deserved, and I just didn't have it in me this match. It's hard not to be more honest than that, Lakitu. By the way, it's cool to see you back.

Lakitu: Ah, thanks. Alright, take care and good luck when you guys fight next. Digi, it's all yours. Send us off.

Digi: No problem, Lakitu. It's nice to see you accepting my invitation. Besides, you know I go through a lot of commentators and never kept one constant for a while. If I'm hosting something else here, you're welcome to stop by.

Lakitu: Cool. *walks back up to the booth* Thanks, dude.

Digi: You're welcome.

(Lakitu hitches his cloud again and coasts away from the booth)

Digi: Well, that was a nice little post-match to go along with a pretty good match altogether. I'll let you folks give some comments on this one.
