Background:

Lugia: Hello SSS fans! Today Mega Man will be in a Stock Match (1 life, items allowed) to show his skills. As you might know, Mega Man has been hired. This is his second match, he will battle Samus Aran. How did this match start? Lakitu!

Lakitu: Yes?

Lugia: Roll the clip with our two combatants.

Lakitu: Roger. (tape starts rolling)

Lugia: Looks like MM and Samus are playing Metroid...

Samus: Ha! Take that Mother Brain!

Mega Man: Charge up the Mega Buster quickly or Mother Brain will fry you!

Samus: I don’t need your trash. I’ve got my own arsenal.

Mega Man: Trash?!

Samus: Of course, your moves are wimpy, admit it.

Mega Man: Want to settle that once and for all?

Samus: Of course!

Mega Man: I’ll meet you in Dream Land.

Samus: Fine! (Kicks Mega Man’s knee, then pushes him and leaves.)

Mega Man: You will pay for that!

(Tape Ends)

Lugia: Before the match starts, I’d like to introduce our guest! He is-

Iggy: ME!

Lugia: Iggy?!? What are you doing here?

Iggy: I’ll commentate with you!

Lugia: No... I have a special guest (hyper beams Iggy, Iggy flies out the window.)

Iggy: HERE WE GO!!! Wait a sec, I don’t have the Wing Caaaaa- THUD!

Lugia: This guest comes from the famous Stair Way!

Geno: (appears) That’s "Star Road!"

Lugia: Ok... Star Bursts.

Geno: Star Road!

Lugia: Star Line...

Geno: Am I the only one who can say "Star Road?!"

Lugia: Just be quiet... Here comes Mega Man!

Geno: Samus is here too!

Lugia: Without further ado...

Geno: LET THE WARRIORS DO BATTLE!

Lugia: Is that the best you can do?!?

Geno: The other stuff is copyrighted!

Lugia: Never mind...anyway, MM starts off with Mega slide!

Geno: Samus dodges and uses the Drop Bomb on Mega Man!

Lugia: Mega Man hit the ground just to be kicked by Samus!

Geno: Samus is charging her Charge Shot!

Lugia: Mega Man gets up and grabs Samus!

Geno: The whispery woods are blowing the fighters away!

Lugia: As if that was a big deal...

Geno: Mega Man used Mega Upper on Samus!

Lugia: Mega Man is landing and uses a Smash Attack on Samus!

Geno: Samus used Screw Attack!

Lugia: Mega Man is getting angry...

Geno: Samus is dominating!

Lugia: Poor Mega Man....

Samus: Hahahaha!

Geno: Yeah Samus!

Lugia: But Mega Man broke free!

Geno: Broke free?

Lugia: Well... Samus was hitting him and MM couldn’t stand up.

Geno: Ok.

Lugia: Mega Man is charging his Mega Buster!

Geno: Samus is going for MM!

Lugia: MM finished charging and shoots Samus!

Geno: Samus was kocked off the ring! Will she make it back?

Lugia: One jump.... a screw attack....

Crowd: oooooooooohhhh!!!!!

Geno: She BARELY made it! This is amazing!

Lugia: I can’t believe this! MM would have won!

Geno: Samus used a Smash Attack!

Lugia: MM crashed against a crate!

Geno: Why didn’t that crate appear before?

Lugia: The items are set to very low.

Geno: Oh...

Mega Man: What will come out?

Lugia: It can't be...

Geno: He looks like it...

Samus & Mega Man: IGGY KOOPA?!?!?!

Lugia: WHAT?!? I told Iggy to go away!

Iggy: Hey Mega Man, can I have your autograph?

Mega Man: Ok... (signs Iggy’s Autograph Album)

Crowd: (laughs histerically)

Lugia: (Goes to the ring, grabs Iggy, and throws him away.)

Iggy: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Lugia: (Goes back to the commentating box.)

Geno: Continue the match!

Lugia: Looks like Iggy left something behind.....

Geno: A Bob-Omb!

Lugia: Mega Man grabs and throws it at Samus!

Geno: Samus is.... GONE!!!

Iggy: ME!

Lugia: (Throws Iggy out the window)

Iggy: AAAAAAAAHHHH!!! THUD!

Mega Man: I beat Samus!

Lugia: Yes, I know.

Samus: Hey! He threw a Bob-Omb at me!

Mega Man: Items were allowed, remember? No crying now.

Samus: (cries)

Big girls don't cry... Samus isn't a big girl...

Lugia: Samus, you may go now....

Samus: (Punches Lugia’s stomach and leaves.)

Lugia: Ouch....

PA: Will Mega Man report to Powers’ office?

Mega Man: I’m going!

(At Powers’ office.....)

Now isn't this a familiar scene?

Powers: Well done Mega Man! You have proven you are worthy. I made the right decision when hiring you.

Mega Man: You did Mr.-

Powers: Don’t say my name or I’ll fire you!

Mega Man: Yes Sir....

Powers: You may leave now..

Mega Man: (Leaves pleased)

(At the main hall...)

Iggy: I won!!!

Lugia: You AGAIN?!?!

Iggy: Uh oh....

Lugia: (sticks Iggy in a barrel cannon)

Quoting the Koopalings, "Why do the good guys always win?"

Iggy: This had to happen to me...

Lugia: FIRE!!

Iggy: I know what happens next.... THUD!

Lugia: Good Bye Geno, keep protecting the Star Bucks! (leaves)

Geno: (Kicking the ground) STAR ROAD!!!! Sheesh...maybe Powers will let me in so I can take Lugia out for not calling my hometown right!

(At Power's office...)

Geno wants a piece of the action.

Geno: Mr. President, I was hoping that I could possibly become a fighter for your league.

Powers: What color did you have in mind?

Geno: Blue, I guess.

Powers: I've heard rumors of another person wanting to join; he also wanted Blue. If I can confirm whoever else wanted to join, I can set up a match for you...if I'm still around.

Geno: Is something wrong?

Powers: Leave me now, Geno, before I change my mind!

Geno: Yes sir! (Leaves)

Powers: After seeing this fight, I actually have some questions about it.

1. If each combatant had three lives, would Samus have had a chance?
2. Did Iggy come on the match to annoy Lugia, or to help Mega Man?
3. Who is this rumored person that might want to join?
4. Will Lugia ever say "Star Road"?

Powers: I know that this conversation will be sent out to the old archives for later studying, so if anyone sees this, they should use that reaction form in the lobby to answer my questions. However, if VGW loses, they will never be posted! I must win my match--I'm saying too much. Bye now.
