Goshi: Thank you, thank you all.
VGW: Today's fight will feature more of the new character ideas that you fans have sent in.
Goshi: Two were chosen at random, and two of mine were picked; Agumon (Tai's Digimon) & Mouchi (Genki's monster friend).
Tomintul: (walks in) I then suggested that Pikachu would be added so we could have a monster free-for-all.
VGW: Thank you, Tomintul. Why don't you join us? We could use some help.
Tomintul: Sure, ok!
Morton: WEDDING CAKE! (Me too!)
Goshi: I don't think so...KAME HAME HA! (blast hits Morton very badly)
Morton: WEDDING CAKE CAKE! (I'll be back, Goshi!) (leaves)
Goshi: I always keep a spare Kame Hame Ha shot charged up, just for such an occasion.
Tomintul: That's a very good idea. It would save all of us some trouble.
VGW: The items have been set up in such a complicated way, I have to do this in detail.
Goshi: All I know is that we are only tossing Pokéballs, Digieggs, & Mystery Disks.
Tomintul: What is so special about the item setup anyway, VGW?
VGW: Say Agumon grabs a Pokéball. It could contain a Hitmonlee for all we know. Since Hitmonlee is a pokémon, it won't hurt Pikachu with his hi-jump kick, but Mouchi CAN be hurt.
Goshi: But...& I could be wrong on this, but if Mouchi grabbed a mystery disk, would the resulting monster attack the other competitors?
VGW: You've got it, Gosh!
Tomintul: I get it! In this match, the different types of monsters won't hurt their own kind. Now that is going to throw some strategy into this match.
Goshi: Speaking of which...what is the main match setup anyway?
VGW: It's a three live fight; Abra & Suezo are the teleporters of this fight.
Tomintul: How come there isn't a teleporting Digimon?
VGW: Because I haven't found one in time; we have to make due with what we have.
Goshi: Guys, I see the competitor's trainers in the front row! How are they taking it?
Tomintul: Well, all three were willing to go through with this match; they wanted to see for themselves who was better.
Goshi: I have it recorded that Agumon is only allowed to digivolve to Greymon if he must digivolve at all.
VGW: Something tells me he'll digivolve further later on.
Tomintul: Look, we don't have all day! Let's start this thing!
Goshi: Tom's right. So for the thousands in attendance...
Tomintul: ...and the millions watching around the world...
VGW: LET THE CARNAGE BEGIN!!! (Copyright VGW Man 2000)
Goshi: Mouchi starts to charge up for his Mouchi Cannon, while Pikachu & Agumon duke it out.
Tomintul: They exchange a few Pepper Breaths & Thundershocks, but nothing major happens.
VGW: Guys, Mouchi is ready to fire the Cannon!
Tomintul: And he does! It is flying towards Agumon!
VGW: But Agumon quickly grabs Pikachu & tosses him in front of the beam! That's got to hurt!
Goshi: Agumon & Mouchi start things off, while Pikachu makes it back safely.
Tomintul: Hey guys! Heads up! (tosses an item pill to the right of the vine)
VGW: Goshi, you know Agumon's moves, right?
Goshi: Yes.
VGW: What is Agumon doing, then?
Goshi: By a coincidence, Agumon has mastered the Skull Bash pokémon attack. He wanted a comeback move, so he wanted to perfect this move.
Tomintul: Agumon is preparing a dark horse move...and it hits Mouchi!
VGW: Pikachu tosses the item pill down, and gets a Digiegg in return!
Goshi: While it won't hurt Agumon, Mouchi better be careful...
Tomintul: Look! Lillymon has come out, & is about to use her Flower Cannon on Mouchi!
VGW: Mouchi tries to dodge, but to no avail! The Cannon connects, KO'ing the contender.
Agumon: Thanks Lillymon!
Lillymon: Don't mention it Agu--watch out! (flys away)
Tomintul: Pikachu has just unleased his Thunder Attack onto Agumon, and the Digimon is KO'ed!
VGW: Pikachu does a quick taunt to the crowd as the lifts bring back the fallen competitors.
Goshi: That definitely shows that the cuter you are, the more power you have--er...something like that.
Tomintul: Whatever you meant, you are on the right track! Mouchi is back, & has used the Cherry Blossom Blizzard to freeze the Pokémon!
Agumon: I've had it! Agumon, digivolve to...
Greymon: GREYMON! Take this little rodent! NOVA BLAST! (a big fireball hits Pikachu)
Goshi: Agu--excuse me, Greymon made a wise decision to finish off Pikachu while it was weak.
VGW: I've got the next item, here it comes! (tosses a pokéball on the field)
Tomintul: Greymon manages to get it, & out comes...Bulbasaur!
Goshi: It looks like Bulbasaur is using Leech Seed...and he does!
VGW: However, Mouchi dodged the life-draining seed; the pokéball was a waste!
Tomintul: Pikachu is back, and starts tackling Greymon--
Goshi: --but Mouchi rolls through both of them, hurting them big time!
VGW: Wait a second...if this is Winter Wonderland, then where are the Beezos?
Tomintul: The Beezos?
VGW: Yes, the flying enemies from SMB2. Lemmy told me that they fly through the arena...
Goshi: There they are! And I see a big swarm of them!
Tomintul: I have bagged a mystery disk; let's see who can unlock this creature! (tosses the disk on the other side of the competitors)
VGW: All three try to grab it...but the Beezos are too quick!
Goshi: Wait! Mouchi is using his shield effectively; he gets the disk and unlocks...Suezo!
Tomintul: OK, where are we going now?
VGW: By the looks of things, no where! Suezo might know Teleport, but he can't recall it right away!
Goshi: Mouchi has just been sent to the background by the Beezos; Greymon has just lost another life (he went back to Agumon), & Pikachu is dead as well!
Suezo: I got it! Tele--
Mouchi: CHIIIIII! (dies)
Suezo: --port! (warp sequence begins)
Tomintul: You know the old saying; too little, too late.
Goshi: The question now is where we will be going.
VGW: Why...we are going to Planet Zebes!
Tomintul: Guys, look at Agumon! He's glowing brighter than he should be! Can he charge up a Pepper Breath?
Goshi: No, he can't be! AGUMON, DON'T!
Agumon: Agumon, warp-digivolve to...
Wargreymon: WARGREYMON!
VGW: Wargreymon?!? I don't think this is in the rules!
Tomintul: Nothing stopped him; he had the energy to do it.
Goshi: All three are going at it, but Wargreymon has a major advantage!
VGW: This isn't a fair fight! I'm tossing down a crate! (tosses a crate)
Wargreymon: I'll get that crate! NOVAFORCE! (spins towards the crate)
Tomintul: The others have dodged, but the crate is now broken...and one of each monster item has been exposed!
Pikachu: Pika chu pikachu; chu chu pika! (You take the pokéball; I get the disk!)
Mouchi: Good idea-chi!
Goshi: The Electric Mouse unlocks Tiger, while Mouchi now controls Zapdos!
VGW: But Wargreymon gets his Digiegg; inside is...METALGARURUMON?!?
Tomintul: How can Metalgarurumon be inside a Digiegg?
Goshi: That part doesn't matter; what does matter is that we should take cover!
Wargreymon: TERRAFORCE! (aims at opponents)
Metalgarurumon: ICE WOLF CLAW! (aims at Wargreymon's opponents)
Mouchi: CHERRY BLOSSOM BLIZZARD! (aims at Wargreymon)
Zapdos: (shrieks while using Thunder on Wargreymon)
Pikachu: Pika! (uses Thunder as well on Wargreymon)
Tiger: BLIZZARD! (aims at Wargreymon)
VGW: Guys, it's safe to look up now...oh my gosh! Wargreymon has been defeated!
Goshi: No way! Wargreymon was mega!
Tomintul: The combined blasts of those attacks are very powerful; plus, it was four to two against the Digimon.
VGW: So, it's between Pikachu & Mouchi now.
Tomintul: Hold on! Both competitors are exhausted from the last blow!
Goshi: Technically, there can't be a draw on life matches. One of them is going to have to die or quit.
VGW: Someone is going to make the first move.
Tomintul: And Pikachu is going towards Mouchi. However, Mouchi is charging up another Cannon round.
Goshi: Mouchi gets ready...
VGW: Pikachu gets ready...
Goshi: And Mouchi fires the cannon!
Tomintul: OUCH! Pikachu has been hit!
VGW: He's going...going...gone! This match is over!
Post-Match:
Genki: Congratulations, Mouchi! You've earned that one!
Mouchi: Thanks-chi!
Holly: Let's find some place to eat; you've earned it.
Mouchi: Let's go-chi!
Tai: Agumon, how could you be beaten? You were a MEGA for Pete's sakes!
Agumon: I know Tai, but I have both flying & fire characteristics! If the monsters that came up had grass like attacks, then I would have survived!
Tai: Still, after your fight with the Dark Masters, I expected better of you! Come on, we've got some work to do.
Agumon: But Tai--
Tai: But nothing! Next time you will beat them!
Ash: That was a good try, Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pika pika chu pika-pik. Chu chu Pikachu pika pikachu pik-chu Chu! (That was a good match. At least Mouchi & I took out Wargreymon!)
Ash: I'm proud of you. You managed to take on a powerful opponent! Let's get some desert!
Pikachu: PIKA! (OKAY!)
VGW: OK, that was fun and all, but I have some questions to ask.
Mash Toady: (comes in) I can answer that one. Morton bored him to sleep with his constant chatter.
Tomintul: I have a better question. Did Wargreymon break the rules about no digivolving past Champion form?
Goshi: I really don't know that one; I mean, he was capable of digivolving further...
VGW: We'll let the fans decide for themselves this time. This is VGW Man...
Tomintul: Tomintul...
Goshi: And Goshi...
