SSS Color Key

Updated for Season 5

It often helps to know who is who in fights and stuff. This will show you who is designated what color, and what the respected initials are for each person (up to three letters per inital). Please study this table so that you won't get confused later.

These colors are used in both time and stock mode. The colors tell you what X is doing to Y, or if Z will sneak up on Y if W doesn't stop him/her first (something like that). When recording how much damage each player has suffered, I will also color in the initials--Lu99NDD2 J0D0 F37D1 W(OUT) means that Luigi had a near death experience at 99% damage and died twice; Jigglypuff hasn't died or suffered damage; Fox currently has 37% damage and has died once; & Wario has just lost his last life and is now out of the game. Just to let you know, the characters keep their colors in tag matches so you don't get confused.

Of Note

Several of the fighters' colors have been changed for Season 5 onward. This table does not necessarily reflect accurately the colors of any fighters before Season 5. This small section will note the various changes that have been made, as well as other exceptions.

Banjo has been changed from Red to Blue.
Dark Horse and VGW Man, both originally colorless, are now Gray.
Mike has been changed from Blue to Light Blue.
Because of dissent among the Superpowers, Geno was often mistakenly given
the color Aqua. However, his official color has always been Navy.
Kirby has been changed from Navy to Pink.
When fighting together, Banjo & Kazooie will be known as B-K
When fighting together, Popo & Nana will be known as IC
