  Well, I've finally decided to post an update too. First off, I'd like to give a huge Congrats to Swordblade, who is really showing up all of us "oldies" here at SSS. His work here on the site is greatly appreciated. On another note, there are a few errors and mistakes here and there, which we're all at work trying to correct. The Bios page is fixed, first off, and some other small things will be coming along. Expect the final few bios to pop up on the site (a few revisions to the old ones included), a new splash image eventually, and a short impulse of new matches to brighten up your day (and one to darken it... someone will be leaving us soon! *cries*). Until then... Happy New Year!

  Hey there! In case you haven't noticed, our no-flash site is up and running! We still have to upload some more stuff and fix minor things here and there but it shouldn't have any horrible errors.We've also got the new Submission Form to make your submissions easier ^_^.

 Well, hopefully you saw the new Splash page and image. I really would like to thank Swordblade for spending the time to find me those facepics. I really do appreciate it. Anyways, now when you go to our "index2.htm" page, it will bring you there to our splash, with that big, booming image of the SSS fighters and SPs in a Melee select screen mock up. There's also some copyright info there, but like you should care... I also changed around the home page, which you also should've noticed. I changed the old banner to a newer, "WELCOME!" banner, and I also swapped the music from "VS. Master Hand-Super Smash Bros. Melee" as it was getting old. The new song you heard there was "Oedo Castle-Legend of the Mystical Ninja." All in all, no, I didn't really do anything important... I just wanted to fix up the page a bit. But it looks good... you gotta at least admit that.

 Okay! Another match, and, surprisingly, within a week of the last one! Hurray for us! Here's that much anticipated match between Ness and Mewtwo, and it's quite a shocker. But what's this? A surprise? Yes. Something special happens in this match, so, I suggest you read it, even if you were going to already. Adam and I are preparing for a big event here... a quest. What? That's all I'm gonna say. Sorry. Oh yeah, and before I go... I've changed my signature here on the updates page a tad. Screw a phony text bomb... I'll just use Zer's again :P So, yeah... There's that. Enjoy the match, folks! And if you visit the boards, I've started yet another fan-motivated open story on the Author's Hangout forum, so check that out as well. Arrivederci!

 What? Me? Steal other peoples' ideas? Never! :p Well, I changed my little siggy here anyways... Now it's got that cool bomb looking symbol. Anyways, I'm actually updating because, guess what? Yes! I actually got to fininshing the match I started at the beginning of Summer. And what is it now? August? Geez... Anywho, here's the match. Okay... it's a lame idea for a match, I admit. But I needed to kill two birds with one stone, so I came up with that. Also, someone asked me about adding a Music section to the site. Now, that's always been an idea of mine, considering I must have the largest Nintendo MIDI collection known to man, outside of Nintendo themselves at least, so maybe that's a project for the future. For now, I can give you a link to a really really kickass MIDI. It's some Japanese site's wickedly good attempt at remixing the theme songs to the Famicom's (NES) best games, all of them being ones made by Nintendo. See how many game you can recognize! (Hint: One of the games is a wildly popular game the US never got, but Japan eats up like Ramen). So... here's the link to that: Wickedly Awesome Kickass NES Remix MIDI. Well, later for now ;)

    Aww... poo. I have to leave the site for a while, starting tommorrow. This sucks because I didn't know this until yesterday. As promised to Zeratul, I will put a link to my comic, The Guild, but don't expect regular updates of the comic, until I get back. As for the site, Flip is in charge until I or Zeratul get back.

    Okay, I'm changing this update a tad. First off: I added a new match by yours truly. Huzzah! Also, I corrected the order of my match compared to GG's. GG's Blues match is now #75, and mine #74, like they should be. Also, GG and I have decided to drop the following fighters: Bass, Banjo-Kazooie, Captain Olimar, and Knuckles. They were really only gonna be fighters we'd use once in a while, or maybe even once period. And besides: we can always have them come in as guest fighters. But, for now, we need to reduce the amount of official fighters we have. So, they're all off the Bio Main Page now... 'cept B-K, who's under Retired, since B-K was an official fighter at some time (the others were just added on the list until we decided to finally add them). Oh, yes, and I got some e-mails regarding the polls. Those can be found at the messageboard. Well, enjoy!

I need to check my e-mail more often... Sorry to those of you sent in matches and didn't get replies right away. I'm usually on top of these things. Anyways, thanks for the great ideas! I'll be sure to put them to use after I run out of ideas for the next couple matches (which shouldn't take long... I've got one more match that's been pre-written, then I have to introudce the rest of the SSB: Melee cast in less than 5 matches, then add in other fighters like Pit and Little Mac, then I'm all dry for ideas for the rest of the season). So, thanks again, and I'll be sure to get work on utilizing your great ideas right away!

It's been a while since anyone updated. Well, almost a week at least... Anyways, here is another new match for you guys. I'm just crankin' these babies out, aren't I? This is actually a match written by GameGuru way back when, during the time of the huge confusion during January/February of this year. I took the liberty of adding HTML code to this one, but GG said that he would add HTML code to future matches of his himself. That's a good thing, considering that I've got my own things I need to take care of for the site anyways. Other than that, expect yet another match coming in soon, introducing yet another fighter, and maybe even another after that. That's all for now. You may have noticed some small changes around the site here and there: GG has been busily at work adding backgrounds to all the old matches. After the menus and backgrounds are cleared up, I'll probably take up the task of rewriting Bios, once again. Damn you Shane and your server crashes! Oh, and remember that if you have any ideas or suggestions for future matches or fighters or bios, whatever, be sure to e-mail me. Arrivederci!

Well well well! What do I have here? Why, it's the newest match! This one introduces a new fighter to the Stadium (as if the color doesn't give away who it is), and starts a very small plot involving Link, which only lasts for about three matches I think. I should check all those matches... Oh yes, by the way, this match includes people like Reid, VGW, etc., even though they're no longer part of the site. Actually, the next couple of matches will include them. Why? These matches were actually all written months ago. It wasn't until now, when everything's finally cleared up, that I've been able to sit down and finally add HTML code to them. So consider yourselves lucky, as you're glimpsing into the past in some way. Anyways... that's that. Expect another match next week, this one written by GameGuru and introducing not just one fighter, but actually another fighter as well. Heehee... Text colors are fun. If you have any ideas or suggestions for future matches and such, be sure to e-mail me. Later!

While I might add some stuff to the random section, the fan section relies solely on what you send. If you have any files you would like us to put up, or your own site, please tell either GG or me.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Brilliant, even. Yes, I'm talking about the site. From what seemed to be Hell after the loss of our files, we've gotten a brilliant new design coming from Zeratul. Yeah, there's still the lame black background, but nonetheless, this site is picking up. I'm feeling motivated! Expect some more great updates coming soon :)

Hey there! Once again, VGF's unreliability has killed the stadium. Do not fear, though. We are currently working on the revival of the site (as usual...). In case you haven't noticed, I came up with a new format for the update page since the other one was getting old... and this one's more user-friendly for SPs who have trouble with tables. We hope to bring some new stuff to the site soon.
